Awful
The original expand worked very well. This new THING is atrocious. Not clear and it produces a backup that has proprietary files that cannot be opened on the computer. Just a bunch of junk, in my opinion. Don’t try to fix what’s not broken!!!
KEEP iXPAND. THIS APP IS A BIG DOWNGRADE!
This app is made for someone in the third grade who needs the most simple of backups. If you want to select individual images to back up, and basically have control over your back up. This thing is going to infuriate you. I don’t understand why they have to phase I expand out for this garbage software? Please explain this SanDisk. iXpand was a near perfect backup and file transfer solution. This is a definite downgrade.

MASSIVE DOWNGRADE!!!!
If this is where SanDisk is going with “upgrades” I will be switching my storage options. Majority of the quality of life features in the previous ixpand app is non existent. Can’t delete photos after upload, have to manually go back into photos app to delete. If I could give this app zero stars I would.

Had to make a new app to shove in app purchases down users throat
If I could rate zero I would. HUGE disappointment.
The old IXpand app did not have a store or explore button and the functionality in the new app is worse than the old IXpand app. It is clear to me Sandisk is comfortable slapping together a less than mediocre app to push in-app sales. IXpand is the only SanDisk product my company has used thus far. We loved it for it’s convenience and streamlined UI. Terrible company practices, use your money to improve the product. Will be switching to a better one at my company for transferring my data.
In the most common scenario, you are already paying for device to use this app with.

I’d give a zero if I could
Can’t image what goes thru peoples minds when they release something like this. The old app was pretty good but this is nothing but trash. If this is the only thing you can use sandisk with I’ll be looking for other storage options. I’m hoping that the developers see all the bad reviews before march and change things up

Just copy the old ui, Sandisk
I don’t like this app. Please use the old user interface. The old ui style was way better and helps me select files faster. This one is slow and cumbersome, I hate it. There isn’t even an option to delete files after finishing moving them! Cmon.
Downgrade from original app!
I was given a notice that the iXpand app was no longer going to be supported so I downloaded the current version of the Memory Zone app and I do not have direct access to any of my photos or videos on my phone. I’ve watched the tutorials and they are only for iPhone 15 series phones and up And I have an iPhone 14 Pro Max. I have used the iXpand without issue since it’s release and now I can’t access any of my files so I am going to delete this app and reinstall the old app even though it is going to be deprecated in a few months.

File Transfer Missing
Had this Luxe flash drive (SDIX70N-064G) for about a year. Use it to transfer files between iPad, iPhone and iMac. iXpand worked great. This app doesn’t support transferring files. The menu options for transferring files are missing.
Not an improvement
Far inferior to the previous app when using the Sandisk thumb drive. The previous app allowed you to simply plug the thumb drive into your phone, select the files you wanted to transfer/save, then did it. This new edition is very difficult to use.
Downgrade. Over complicated.
Major downgrade from IXpand drive. The system to upload your images is terrible, takes forever compared to the old version IXpand. IXpand allowed you to transfer your images fast easy and abundantly. This new app and its system takes way too long and is way too complicated. They did it best the first time. Please change back.
