Can't upload recordings

Don't bother

Response from developer

TruSpeaker is a serverless, privacy oriented detector. It is designed to detect deepfakes in ambient audio. So yes-there is no upload functionality. Step 1 of the howto in the app description says “Record audio”.

Caught cloned & real audio tweets

And a bunch of deepfake ads on YouTube. Almost all of them “sounded” legit but were too good to be true. The OPs did mention some were fake-this tool marked all these as cloned. I tested legit voices with my parents voices-these did show as real.
Maybe in a future release, Developer should add support for voicemails. Good job overall👏👏

Doesn’t Work

I recorded myself talking and it said the recording was cloned. I feel like I seriously just got ripped off with this app and I would like my money back!?

Response from developer

Hello, thanks for the feedback & email. The app does need a full 5 seconds of your voice to supply the ML engine sufficient data. Please do try longer samples & provide an update. Also, the Apple recommended mechanism for quick refunds is: https://support.apple.com/en-in/118223

Slick👏👏

Got a video in my YouTube feed. Some investment guru talking about the stock market darling tech stock & how he could deliver returns bigger than that. Ran it by this app-was a sham/scam. Loved the app demo too (turn up the volume)

Response from developer

Thanks for the feedback! We hope to stay a few steps ahead of scammers with our ML tech. If you can share some samples by email, it would be helpful. Failing & successful cases are equally helpful.
