Fantastic way to learn about Buddhism
The text makes the classical summary of the branches of Tibetan Buddhism available in a very pleasant and accessible manner. The contents represent a series of books written by a leading nonsectarian practitioner. Each specific book is available for a fraction of the print cost.
Only reason that I did not give this 5 stars is that the publisher is slow to update it to new versions of iOS. I have refrained from updating my iPad to iOS 12 so as not to risk looking this app, as I did with earlier releases.Show lessDoes it need to be iOS 6?
It's a pity it will not run on gen 1 iPad's, which only go up to iOS 5.1.1. Many people still are quite happy with their first generation iPad's and I would have thought an App like this would otherwise run on it just fine. Could you ask your developer to recompile the App with an adjusted minimum 'required version' of 5.1.1 so all those iPad users on the older iPad's can use this pretty please ;)Show lessAn amazing doorway to a full picture of Tibetan Buddhist tradition
Wow. The content of this app is like none other. Kongtrul's focus and intension is wonderful and clearly represented by this compendium of his works. Thank you for putting together. The tech is a standard e-book reference style, used by many other e-books.
