  • Fantastic way to learn about Buddhism

The text makes the classical summary of the branches of Tibetan Buddhism available in a very pleasant and accessible manner. The contents represent a series of books written by a leading nonsectarian practitioner. Each specific book is available for a fraction of the print cost.

Only reason that I did not give this 5 stars is that the publisher is slow to update it to new versions of iOS. I have refrained from updating my iPad to iOS 12 so as not to risk looking this app, as I did with earlier releases.

  • Does it need to be iOS 6?

It's a pity it will not run on gen 1 iPad's, which only go up to iOS 5.1.1. Many people still are quite happy with their first generation iPad's and I would have thought an App like this would otherwise run on it just fine. Could you ask your developer to recompile the App with an adjusted minimum 'required version' of 5.1.1 so all those iPad users on the older iPad's can use this pretty please ;)

  • An amazing doorway to a full picture of Tibetan Buddhist tradition

Wow. The content of this app is like none other. Kongtrul's focus and intension is wonderful and clearly represented by this compendium of his works. Thank you for putting together. The tech is a standard e-book reference style, used by many other e-books.
  • Incredible content, terrible tech

The ability to see the entire Treasury of Knowledge in translation and the original Tibetan all in one place is truly a marvel. Not to mention the excellent formatting along with various outlines to refer to. Kudos to all who worked to make this available.

Unfortunately the app is not very stable. It freezes and crashes constantly making it virtually unusable. The content is amazing, but if no one can access it, what good is the app?

  • Great idea but my ipad 2 cant cope

I loved the idea, of being able to read the entire work on my iPad but sadly this isnt happening.

It takes forever to load and then it freezes and I simply am locked onto a page, I cant mive it or even get out of it and have to turn my iPad off and ob again.

I am very very frustrated and wish I had the books in my hand instead as I havent been able to read much at all...after buying the whole work ! Could someone do something about this ? i cant be the only one..and I would love to be given the books to read instead of this expensive waste of money.

    Please can someone-help...

  • If you have an interest in Tibetan Buddhism Get it

I am in love with this app. It is beautiful, functional and affordable when compared to the hardcopy books.
  • Beautifully done!

This app is beautiful to look at and beautiful to read! I'm so very grateful to the people and donors who made this possible. May all benefit from the blessings of this text.
  • Absolutely brilliant !

I have hard copies of these volumes, but to have then all on my ipad so I can take them where ever I go is just great. Also you can hyperlink from place to place within the digital version, very very handy. One could say this is the Kargyu Abhidharma, wonderful. Go ahead and buy these because at £6.99 per volume you really can't go wrong.

  • Very well done!

I stumbled across this App by accident and was blown away, a masterful bilingual rendering of a significant classical text in digital format. This App is a must for those looking for a highly accessible version of The Treasury of Knowledge and also for students of the Tibetan language.
