Have used the system for a few days. Used in central and northwest Michigan , including Traverse City. Approx 300 miles.
Setup is dead simple.
Most of false alarms are within the yellow box areas. As best I can tell these are commercial areas ie automatic door openers at stores. Those outside the yellow boxes are in residential areas, likely motion activated lights.
I was driving on US 31 north of Charlevoix and encountered a sheriffs SUV coming towards me with radar on. He was using K band. His radar was well outside of the yellow box. So his radar was non compliant, I wonder how that would have played out in a court room.
The display with the boxes defining the legal operating frequencies of the radar guns, is quite small on the iPhone 5.
