Updated; the new app owner has restored my lifetime license. See my old review below but realize this was remedied so I made

Old review: purchased this app for $7 years ago and used it often. I open the app today and attempt to “restore” purchase and it says “nothing to restore” and tries to make me pay a subscription fee, very dishonest of the developer to bait and switch his loyal customers Who paid for a product they can no longer use. This app is being deleted.

Simply the best of it’s kind
I rarely take time to review, but this is truly a gem in the App Store! So much depth and breadth of functionality is packed into Marcus’ creation that it is a perfect fit for newbies and advanced IT specialists. The only reason I don’t give 5 stars is that I have run into a snag that I’ll be reaching out to him about in short order. Keeping my fingers crossed that he will be able to work it out for me. If you’re deciding on which of these type utilities to download, STOP and pull the trigger on this bad-boy! You won’t be disappointed.

Really Good
If your into Networks or want to check your own, this is the software to use. It can look a bit overwhelming at first but but if you’re looking at networks, you will have a good idea on how to use the App. Even if you are not an expert, this software will still be very useful to track down problems on your or someone else’s network. I can really recommend this and the price is very good. Bill

A constantly developed app that has now died due to subscription.
This application was one of the most useful tools for network troubleshooting with a developer that consistently improved it. I have owned it 5+ years and have always had it in my toolbox to depend on.
Now, the automatically updated application will not allow me to run it without the lame “subscription” model that I have zero interest in. This is a great utility, but does not pay the bills like other subscription products that offer a choice - i.e. Microsoft 365 E5. Small but use utilities cannot pull this off and I am sad to say app is being deleted and hidden from past purchases. Talk about shooting yourself in the foot.
Sad to see it go.

What a shame Cigada Lucia you have destroyed Marcus’s wonderful network tool with your greed.
I purchased this application for around $10 back in July 2023 and it specifically read in the T&C that the purchase was a lifetime license one time payment it’s your forever.
At least that’s what the legally binding contract read. Now all of a sudden Cigada Lucia purchases the application and immediately devises a plan to squeeze an already broke majority of Americans and make this once great networking tool into a weekly or monthly subscription based app. I will NEVER weekly or monthly subscribe to anything. Ever.
You see just because you purchase the rights too a company or an application does NOT give you the legal authority to not honor agreed upon terms at the time of sale (breach of contract) which is illegal and leaves this person with civil liability in every state and most countries.
I will give Cigada until the end of the week to give me my purchase back immediately with a sincere apology or return my money and you can take back your weekly sub app. Good luck with that bud!

The Swiss Army knife for Net Admins & those learning!!
It’s free to try, I promise you won’t be disappointed!
There’s a lot of replicas out there with cookie cutter interfaces and basic functions. Although this app literally surprised me the more I used it. Everything from port references, protocol lists, cmd descriptions, along with every scan you could need without ever leaving the app. This app has and is still educating me every use. I wish I could provide feedback of a drawback but honestly it’s been everything I needed and more.

There are now help pages that showed me what I needed and the scope of what this app does has widened out.

Not Happy
Purchased this app originally, now after updating it requires a subscription and I can’t use it.
Lots of features
I’m a student in cyber and a hobbyist. I’m still learning on how to use all the resources.
The only issue is that I had is with trace route and the information and guide on how to use the tools are no longer working. With the how to use information not working it lowers the quality of the learning environment for me and makes the app less worth the price.
The reason I am giving 4 stars is because all the features do not work and there is no more help info. I would really rate it a 3.5 if I could.
