Sounds nice but has issues
Out of the box it works fine until you want to edit a track. Editing is very difficult and seems to crash the app. All Session Band apps no longer work with Audio bus. Instruments are great if you use it as is. This piano version is one of my favorites but the bugs warrant low rating.NikkiDreams

Not working fully on IOS 8
There was no mention of this app not being fully compatible with iOS 8 until I bought it and it didn't fully work... I visited the official website to them find out that iOS 8 update is imminent... Not really happy that I can't fully use the app as it looks great.Songsforarainyday
Great, needs cross-SessionBand copy-paste
I use my iPad to practice guitar and bass. This beats many of the other tools I have been using for good jam tracks. I have five or so SessionBand apps now, and wish there were in easy way to copy and paste chord progressions between them. There are also choppy audio issues when I use audiobus that I expect you folks will clean up.Show lesspien75
Brilliant.
I absolutely love this app!!! With single piano tracks, I can use this to create both a base track, and a lead sheet... which I can then use to add other instruments. Incredible. And the best part is the real ness of the loops. Amazing! The interface is simple and amazing. Brilliant.jbhorsewriter7
Major tempo issue
Great idea and sounds but as soon you change tempo you have to close app and open again as no other settings are accessible.
You are effectively stuck using the preset tempo as far as usability goes.
There's been no update at least since this app went on sale at Christmas. Time for an update!!!mattsyd7
Exactly right tool .
..for songwriter who can't play any instrument but always enjoy singing out of nowhere tune. This app can complete your song at first note... Love this app.Zkin11
Interesting App
I play piano, so keyboard wise i can pull off a sax, violin, strings and stuff which maks this is a nice app where i can put a simple yet nice sounding backing together "to jam with using another app for my lead melody" that said it could do with an easier way of editing the riffs, im not to keen on the interface use, hence my 4 star rating, other than that its good. What would make this app awsome is, if it had chord suggester in chosen keys and scale. Also midi export.Happy song writer
Wish I'd known
Wish I'd known before I paid for this that beats per minute can not be adjusted. That lack makes an otherwise brilliant app useless for production.John Governale
