App to chronograph went to sheot after last App update
I downloaded the App after purchasing the chronograph. Took it to the range and it interfaces and logged the data from shots perfectly. I updated the App on my iPhone 11 and it stopped working. After buying a new dongle from Apple, putting the App on my newer work iPhone, my wife’s 14, getting a brand new Chronograph from Caldwell it still does not interface to the App. So for the headache and hassle I’m recording date the old fashion way, pen and paper one shot at a time at the range and putting it into a spread sheet from the first working session before the update. It is disappointing that a big part of the total tool is useless artist on a bore.Show lesssclugsto
App doesn’t work with latest IOS
I used this app several years ago and it worked great. With the latest IOS this app is refusing to work or communicate with chronograph. Bluetooth doesn’t even work on app.josh9465
Zero care for existing customers
I realize this chronograph I’m using is a few years old, but it was working just fine until I dated my phone to iOS 16. That said, Caldwel has had plenty of time to fix the issues! I even sent an email to the company and got no response. It is now time to move on to a different brand. The chronograph itself may be working, but you will have to do all the math yourself if you’re using an iPhone. This unit is not designed to show totals, only one velocity at a time, on its display. That is to be done in your phone. And when it doesn’t work, well, like I said, time to move on to a different brand.Show lesshmmmAllNicknamesTaken
Caldwell doesn’t care if it works with iPhone 16 or not
I have called and spoken to Caldwell and first the person seemed unaware that that app doesn’t work with the iPhone 16 and later updates. Then they admitted they did now it wasn’t working. They don’t care. I moved in and tossed my chronograph in the garbage.fartintacos
New update fixed ios16 but lost old data
Hi thanks for fixing ios16 compatibility. It however doesn’t see my saved groups. I have data going back a few years. Can you fix this please?whatever!!!!!!!!!
Stopped working with IPhone
This app has stopped working, tried two different phones. Recognizes that it is connected but doesn’t show data anymore. Worked great when it did work.Dplunger
No longer works
Having just updated my phone to iOS 16 the app connects to the chronograph but doesn’t receive any data from it, the velocity is measured ok and displayed on the chronograph but not on the app. This means I can no longer record my results as shot strings or get automatic calculation of SD, ES, MV etc.
All in all, an almost complete waste of money buying the Cauldwell chronograph.Show lessBut why Loretta Stan
Last update/version lost all my data!!
This was simple and a good way to store my data. However, since the latest update, I seemed to have lost all my data! Not happyLippy55_984
Dont upgrade
Have been using the old 6 yo app for years along with years of shooting data. Updated and the new version which erased all my data.

Works well enough, save your data somewhere else
App works with the hardware to record your measurements as intended. Interface isn’t optimized for newer devices, but still works. Latest update cleared all my saved groups data. Not cool.
Would be great if the company decided to spend more than $10 and 5 minutes maintaining this app.angry user16492615
