Amazing Idea, Execution Could Be Improved
The concept behind the app is awesome. Love the FUT draft feel that it has. The biggest thing missing from this app is a “bench” similar to what they have in FIFA drafts. This would mean after you fill out your main lineup, you get 3-6 extra player picks from “bench” slots. These players could be any position, division, or conference, but could be used to fill in gaps for chemistry. It eliminates the frustration with a draft that would be perfect, except for the very last player who gets zero chemistry. Currently there isn’t any way to salvage a draft if you simply don’t get the card/cards you need, which is understandable to an extent, but it can lead to frustration with the feeling that your outcome is random. Some previous reviews mention the randomness involved in the game and the developer has responded saying there is plenty of skill involved. While I agree in principle, there would be significantly more skill involved with a bench system implemented. It allows for you to truly go for a certain division or year with at least a small margin for error. In my opinion this would improve the overall experience for the user and bring more people back as they feel like getting that “perfect draft” is more achievable.
Overall, I’ve had a ton of fun using the app and would instantly go up to 5 stars with a few tweaks!
