It’s great when it works! Getting it to work is a whooole other animal. I couldn’t figure out why the music would not play when it says “Connected” in the Bluetooth settings. I had to read the reviews and try “Forget this device”, relearn the device, and BINGO.
Finally got it to play.

Let’s not forget this is a mobile app that is to work in cars the first time, every time, we need it to connect. People are expecting to drive in their vehicle’s with their favorite music playing, right away. Not so much troubleshooting why the Bluetooth device reads connected but not working, as we swerve back on the road. Plus with this updated app I cannot change the radio station if I needed to. When I first got it installed with Crutchfield technical support, they helped me get it to work. After getting a new phone this new app doesn’t seem to give me all options. Do I really have to call for tech support and complain that this isn’t working 100%?
I will have to deal with the frustrations of pleating with the wife and/or kids as to how to troubleshoot my radio. And because I didn’t get in the car first to fix the radio,”FM radio is fine for now.” I then get the “Stay focused on the road before you kill us all!”
