Love this game, but I have something to say
1.First of all this is presently my favorite game and I have spent hours on it daily, but I think that Ludia needs to make the Light Fury free. I mean seriously!? You can buy all the other dragons mates and offspring in the shop for runes so why can’t you buy Toothless’ family without spending 10$ a month?! I guess you can get the Night Lights for runes but 14,500 RUNES IS OUTRAGEOUS!!! I want them but getting enough runes for Barf and Belch took me 1 month, for all I know it could take me 6 months to get JUST ONE of them.
2. For the last 24 hours my game has not been able to load! It opens to the loading screen gets to “readying for flight” and then crashes and closes the app. Sometime it even turns off my phone when this happens, and sometimes I have to turn off my phone after this happens because trying to get on has my phone very laggy. I don’t know if it’s just me or if I have a bad WiFi AND Data but I would love to be able to play again soon as I want to get the dragon from Viking Helmets and if I miss another day I won’t be able to get it!!! I would like to get the dragon in the helmet thing as I already know what dragon it is and since I know I seem to warn it even more!!!Show lessLeaCandyTippy

Ok so I’ve been playing this for about two years now and this games is one of my favorites. All though I would like to address this... The Lightfury. Ok so honestly how to train your dragon the hidden world was an amazing movie but, I was really sad when I had to pay so much money just for one dragon. So I was wondering if in a certain point 8n the game if you could make light fury free or at least how we unlock like the green death, or hook fang, meatlug, and stormfly. Basically you can earn it. Also the night lights are bothering me two, I’m not saying they should be free just that they should cost less like I said, I’ve been playing for about two years and I’m on.y at 8,000 something. Also I just unlocked the green death so go me, but just for the sake of it, could you be a bit more specific than “ unlock the brute dragons collection” it really confused like “ do I get them for free? Do I search for them?” Ect. I know this is probably asking a lot ( and you don’t have to do that last one, sorry ) but it would really market it easier to play and enjoy, and I’m gonna be honest, your game is the first game I go to after watching race to the edge, the hidden world, o4 just strait up reading the books. I have a love/hate relationship with this game
I love being able to gather materials and go searching for items to complete a set. I love being able to battle other dragons. I like collecting dragons...I love being able to get legendary dragons. I like sending dragons out for journeys. I like completing challenges.
However...I dislike the fact that it takes so many runes to send toothless out to get items. I dislike the fact that in order to complete sets you have to purchase 30 items and most of the time you have to buy them with runes (if your lucky you get it for wood or fish) but it takes forever! I’ve been playing this game for over two years and I’m stuck on the screaming death for over half the year. And unless I want to spend 55,000 runes to “finish” the collection, I don’t know that I’ll be able to ever get this dragon or complete the challenges.
Also there have been a lot of bugs lately...I’m typing this right now because I can’t get into the game because the title screen keeps crashing.Show lessteachkim808
Slight fall
I used to play this game a lot years ago and it was the only mobile game that I played, I never felt like I had to pay money(but I still did coz it was a good and fun game), one day the game crashed and I lost everything and I wasn’t able to get it back so I was put off the game for years.
Just earlier today I went back to start all over and was pleasantly surprised. Most of the good gameplay mechanics are still here and the new battles work really well but it’s a shame to see that every time that u log on and or exit a game menu, u get bombarded with pop up ads. In addition to this the game has been made a bit more ptw which is a shame but u can probably get by without paying much.
Overall it’s still a good experience with and the subscription service(although I was very sceptical at first seeing as it is a lot off money especially for one mobile game) is a good idea as if u take the game seriously(as I am thinking of doing), it allows u to get more for less over a longer time period. I think the game is almost as good as it once was but if there was one thing that would make it a five star experience, it would be to increase what u get out the regular micro transactions so that there is a reason to buy them rather then because u feel like u need toShow lessSceptile4life

So, I have nothing against this game. how to train your dragon is the BEST! I’v been playing this game for 2 years now I think? And, Dont get me wrong, I Love this game but, Recently every time i try to get on the app, it logs me out. Maybe a glitch? I just wanted to find out what it is. Don’t get me wrong, This is my absolute fave game ever. Can you try and fix it please?,
I’m editing my Review cause I might have to delete it so it will work.. But since im not logged in, I will lose everything. It’s really hard to get champions, and it’s even harder to level up, win Gauntlets, and search for different types of dragons. Loved the game but....
I first started this game a few years back and I loved it, but dropped for about a year. But today I tried to log back into it using my Facebook account where I had all my progress stored. Unfortunately the game kept on using the wrong Facebook account and I didn’t have an option to use the right one. I tried everything I could from firstly contacting customer service but to get no response from there. I tried deactivating my account, logging out of it, removing the game data from said Facebook account. But every single time it logged back into the wrong account and I was literally unable to use the correct account to play the game. I’m just hoping that the support team gets back to my message soon cause I really want to play this game with all of my original progress.Show lessappleisntlettingmechooseaname
Dragons
This game is AMAZING! I have been playing it for years now and I have levelled up so high! I love how many different dragons you can get and I like the fact that you can brawl defend Berk! The legendary dragons are so cool! I love the Crimson Goregutter! I also love that it features all of the riders dragons from the movies and series, obviously toothless, but it it also has Windshear, Sleuther, Darkvarg, and so many more that pop up here and there in the series! It is a truly fantastic game!! If you commit to it, you can go so far, and I love that Valkas sanctuary has been put in there, the Titan dragons look so cool! The only thing I am REALLY disappointed about is that the Light Fury is only for riders. I don’t think that you should make people pay real money for a really great dragon, because all the other ones can be purchased with runes, so why make the light fury only purchasable with real money? Because I love the light fury so much and was SOOOO disappointed when I realised I had to pay for her. She plays such an important role in the film that I think she should be able to buy by saving up runes. I also think that some of the card packs are a bit overpriced, so maybe think about that, but other than those requests, it is a great game and I would truly recommend it!!Show lesswolfspiritblob

I am so happy I found a app like this! I spend about 30 minutes to 1 hour playing this game. However, there are still some things that can be fixed like being fair to everyone like instead of having a lot of people spending money for being an exclusive dragon rider. If some people don’t want to or can’t spend that much amount of money for being and exclusive dragon rider, it is not really that fair because they can’t get all the special things and items that exclusive dragon riders get.
Another thing that can be done is to make buying things more cheaper. If I need to buy more fish or wood, it is very expensive because I have to pay a lot of runes and it takes a long time to earn more runes.
Plus, to get more runes, wood, fish, and more things, you usually get card packs for that right? So instead of waiting every 6 hours to get and open a card pack, why not make the time limit even less?
Overall, I enjoy playing this game but if these 3 features can be changed, I believe everyone (including me) will have an amazing experience playing this game.Show lessDogLoverGirl101

This game has been nothing but amazing for me! It has done everything I have told it to without having any problems or faults. And every update it gets better and better! There is one thing you could add though. You could add something so when you unlock a legendary dragon, you could select a few of your dragons to fly over the top of it! This would make the map look much better if you could see your dragons flying around the top of the legendary dragons!! But apart from that I give it a 5/5 rating!! If you can, try to download this app. It will give you something to do when you have nothing else to do. It also is very fun at the same time. But the more you play the better you’ll become so start Now!!
You also should make is soo you can Battle other people and take there loot like there wood and fish but NOT Runes because that wouldn’t be fair if you paid for them and somebody comes and raids your village and takes your runes!!!Show lessHarryFaws
A slight error?
To whoever the developer who reads this review I would like to report something that might be unfair or an error.
On my account, I have a lot of rare dragons, and to get them to Titan level often needs about 17 million wood and at Meade hall level 9, you need 5 dragons at level 52, which is Titan mode. However the maximum wood storage at that level Meade hall is 10 million wood. So to get that dragon to Titan level/stage, you would have to spend runes to purchase the extra 7 million wood which is often about 560 runes. Now I know some people can buy them in the store, but this particular game attracts a lot of ‘free to play’ players and to get those 560 runes they saved up on, used on a dragon to get to Titan wing stage, is a little bit disheartening. I don’t know if this could be changed but if you could change the wood storage or the cost of a rare dragon then that would be good because not many people really want to waste their resources on a Titan wing common dragon such as a monstrous nightmare, that collects no where near as much resources compared to a rip wrecker as a rare dragon.
If something could be done, then many people I am sure would appreciate that very much.
