Used to be good, but now is scammy.
This used to be an okay test but with the latest update, they changed it so that you now have to pay to take their test. No thanks. I’m changing my formerly positive review to a one star and, after having the app on my phone literally for years, I’m deleting it. The info on the update also suggested they were now using the app as a way to persuade you to buy typing consultations. Sleazy.
EDIT: Please note the developer’s response to me is untrue. I was unable to take the test after their update. The test button had a lock on it, and I was prodded to buy full access. I tried accessing the test page elsewhere in the app, and the button to take the test was grayed out. My only option was to view past test results. I tried multiple times in multiple ways before writing my review just in case it was a user error. It wasn’t. The new update requires you to purchase the full version to take the test.

Our Enneagram test is still free and always will be. Also free in the app is our Brief Descriptions, a complete Glossary of Terms, and some items in the main page of each Type. The Full version (which can be unlocked for free or by purchase) provides you with detailed bullet pointed information on multiple subpages. UPDATE: Regarding the test- Please check that all four check boxes are checked before beginning. These are the test instructions. Once your confirm you read them, the grey button becomes turquoise. I assure you the test is free on the every version of the app. The consultations are optional. We refer to professionals who are neither employed by nor contractors of EnneaApp. They are simply trusted professionals we help connect Enneagram enthusiasts to. Love this app, but recent update left me high and dry
Love this app as a quick, helpful reference for enneagram types, traits, and various dynamics between types. Downloaded the most recent update last night and loved the interface improvements (was using it on WiFi on an iPhone X), however now whenever I try to open it it crashes immediately and is unusable (at least on cellular data, not WiFi). I paid for the subscription and was excited to show my friends the new features, very disappointing that this great update comes with a fatal flaw of crashing upon opening! Please fix ASAP!

The Upgrade has a glitch
The drop down menu for language is blank and unfortunately you can’t continue to open the app because of that.
Good as an intro to a fascinating subject
As a counsellor / hypnotherapist it really helps to type someone as it means we can meet at a perspective in personality and view of life.
I work in a non- judgmental way so it really helps to get an idea of perspective on underlying traits.
Very quick tool but a full study of the subject is also fascinating for any people person.

Great info but could be better
The app is functional and informative, but is lacking in design and layout. It would be a lot better with clean, engaging, thoughtful UI. The addition of some “growth” exercises would add some further depth.
Find your personality
This tells you so much for such a small investment of your time. It’s especially fun to compare yourself with others so you can begin to recognize where people are coming from.

Pocket guide to relating to yourself and your fellow humans
I only discovered the enneagram within the last two weeks, but the experience has been transformational, in large part because of this app. It has enough detail for a beginner to manipulate the enneagram and test knowledge to grow more familiar with the enneagram after paying the $1.99, which is reasonable for an app with such depth. Daily now when trying to understand myself or a friend in need, I flip open the app to investigate likely sources of the problem. The stress/heart vectors for each type then provide a quick reminder of the underlying symptoms of discontent follows by the direction of growth. I especially love the growth tab because then it even provides you a template of gentle nudges needed to help yourself or your friend reach their highest virtue and higher mind. Download and pay for the app and help yourself and those you love to achieve more fulfilled lives!

Very informative and easy to use. I was frustrating reading what others wrote because yes the app is free if you want to take the test but for more information there’s a $1.99 fee which is TOTALLY and COMPLETELY worth it. The developers did an excellent job!! 🙏🏼♥️

At first I thought looks a bit “cheap” when u first open the app?!? Many questions later I was satisfied well beyond my previous personal expectations regarding apps of this kind! The accuracy was fantastic and much appreciated! Thank you for the option to share my results with my peers on fb also allowing the use of the apps full version! I’m a “6” btw
