Decent app
I’ve used the app for about a year and it has worked fine. My problem with it is that I can’t print the inventory. Or save it to anything. Well I opened the app up on my iPad, and it’s all gone. Everything is gone. I have an empty app on my iPad, and when I try to start over, I can’t see the categories I input. I don’t know what happened, and I’ll miss it, but on the iPad, it’s dead.
Update.
I tried to show someone the app and everything was gone.
No, I haven’t entered anything in it for awhile, but I occasionally looked at it because it had original information.
It’s not only empty, I can’t enter new information.
Probably because I had to sign in to do anything.
So I am assuming that they have deleted my account.
No big deal, my inventory has grown far beyond the capability of this app, especially since you can’t do anything but look at it.
You can’t save a copy on your own system, you can’t print anything, and you are at the mercy of the internet.
No internet, no access to your own data.
If you have a small amount of inventory, and don’t mind access only when you have internet, this app will probably work for you.

App is good but apparently has its limits
My entire inventory seems to have disappeared as soon as I hit 1000 items. I’m hoping this will be corrected.

?
Not sure if there was an update or something, but I lost my complete inventory list. Not worth my time to reenter everything.
Works Just Fine For Me
I don’t know if all the moaning about this app is device specific or people not using it correctly but it works perfectly fine for me. I can add categories and individual items within that category easily. The paste function is a tad clunky and I would like to see the photo of the locos from the main list but that is ok.
It does what I expect and want from the app.

Needs work
Whilst an excellent idea, this app reeks of version number 1. Or less.
Repeatedly entering the same data is a mindless time waster - at least in Excel I can copy and paste.
Inability to even edit a category is frustrating.
Should be able to load multiple pictures for each loco or piece of rolling stock.
Also should be able to define the scale at the start of a collection - re-entering the same scale each time is tedious, for several thousand of items.
Support for Australian model manufactures (and other countries) could easily be preloaded.
Woodland Scenics is a respected brand in the model railway game - this app is not a representation of that earned respect.

Great idea “but”
Adding a photo crashes the app. Prices default to dollars and there’s no way of specifying other currencies. More fields are needed like DCC decoder, epoch, running number.
I’m not sure why it forces you to create an account with your email address either.

Up date didn’t work
Your latest update did not fix the camera, when you take a picture and select use it shut down
v24.0.8 never loads
Updated v5.1.6 to "cloud" v24.0.8. Now just an animated circle showing "loading.." but app never loads. Running iPad with v9.3.5. Very disappointed since I no longer have access to my previously build inventory.
Didn’t work
Nice idea and could be helpful to have, but couldn’t get it to add an item and kept crashing.
