Great graphics but very poor gameplay!
If you are looking for a golf game to develop your skills to play well, having fun and being in control of your shots by mastering the game, then WGT Golf is not for you. The graphics are excellent, but WGT is the most unstable golf game in the market and this is giving an extremely poor gaming experience: very imprecise club's distances, game full of distances to holes glitches on every hole and on top of that, in order to suppodsely simulate real golf, the programmers of WGT Golf have integrated a stand alone program called VEM (Virtual Equipment Modulation) in the game that is literally taking control of a lot of your approaches shots by modifying the sweet spots of your clubs, based on your player skills, your own personal abilities and on your playing habits. So not even your clubs' distances and distances to the holes are very imprecise, but this VEM program is also having the capabilities to change your clubs' specifications and mapping distances at any time during any round and will take control of a lot of your approach's shots!! This program is highly controversial and is very contested throughout the WGT community (you can search for VEM in their WGT forums to see this). The worst part is that at some some point, it is the game that is deciding if you are going to have a bad or a good round, not you!! And because of the VEM structure, some players are more penalized than others making the game playability very unfair between players. All together, there is just too many variables that are controlled by the game and that is just trowing your playing fun, your player skills, and your game knowledge in the ditch.

It’s just like golf
If you like frustrating playing conditions, this is your game! It gives very limited perspectives on shots. You can’t get a good angle to for judgment. It’s literally a feeling game.
It is simply diabolical in its interpretation of rough shots. It gives very little instructions and nothing is the same way twice. I wouldn’t recommend this game to anyone who wants to keep their sanity….
Visual perspectives are extremely limited for the putts and especially chipping.

Feedback from Game and others.
I’ve only been playing WGT for about 3/4 months now, I am a golfer myself and watch it on occasion with my dad, golf is a hobby of mine even though the sport is a bit slow, I still like to immerse myself in the game and enjoy being outside and seeing what course that are in the state of Colorado. To me WGT is a challenging but fun game it is immersive and challenging which I am always up for a good challenge all clubs and balls are accurate nothing seems out of order the only flaw I have with the game is that the “gold coins” are very hard to get and the price of a titlelist club is around *2300 which is pretty big since the gold coins are so rare, I wanted to mention that I saw a review that the game only wanted your money and what I say is yes if you make your game immersive and fun and you want people to buy items then they are going to have to spend money and the same review said that they tried calling WGT support and they would give the money back, although it made some sense the whole process would be too complicated to have money go into a whole game and not knowing where that money is, it would be almost impossible to refund them, Besides that I love this game for anyone who like golf I hope WGT is successful and becomes a huge hit.

Problem with reward ads
For a few days now, I can’t watch ads to get credits on my iPad 12, but I can on my old iPad. How to solve this problem?
WGT
Graphics and gameplay are great, but the ingame upgrades are very slow. I feel like I’ve been on my level for months, and I’m reluctant to pay the large amounts of money to upgrade. Still, the game is really fun to play so will persevere 😁
New updates are not good
The latest update in November 2024 is terrible. The new swing looks terribly amateurish compared to before.
Not worth it
Fun game until you reach a higher level, then you will have to get the credit card out to pay for every little upgrade they offer you to keep it up with other players. You will also be Ad free for a while but then they will play an ad before every game you want to play unless you pay extra for an ad free game.

Been playing for nearly ten years. Was bogey golf earlier and now closer to par depending on the course. Some courses are way harder than others but controlling your shots is critical. I find WGT golf very realistic. Only drawback is when unsuspected errors in the software occur 🥵
