Interface Inferiority

Read title.

Why?

Just done update. UI looks bald with missing grid lines.
Signature page may as well be blank. Column on left flows through whole signature page giving room just to the right of the screen for signing. Can’t re-open attachment taken by camera on iPad.
Unable to send receipted items.

Slow and clunky

I think Microsoft tried to make this work, but it’s not a great experience. For example, when you switch between Dynamics and any other app on your ipad, it forgets what page you were on. So if you want to cut and paste details from an email or website into a record, it takes you all the way through the startup page and to your default view. So you are forced to navigate back through to where you were.

This isn’t helped by the general slowness of the Dynamics backend, so even on a Gigabit Internet connection, the whole application doesn’t feel very responsive by today’s standards.

It’s fair to say that this isn’t a modern looking iPad app, and in fact just looks like a web app that is supposed to be optimised for an iPad sized device.

They haven’t taken into account any of the advantages of being a proper iPad application, with the responsiveness and ease of use we have all come to expect by well developed mobile applications.

The iPhone version suffers from all the same issues by the way.

I’m hoping they will put some time into improving this over time!

Too Slow

The system is too SLOW. They need to develop a LITE version for sales or train users to understand how to limit some of the functions. Sales people don’t need to see all the various fields and information for everyone.
We need to focus on our territory responsibility and not what happens outside of our focus. Who can help?

This is unusable on an iPad, barely passable on a decent laptop, and still underwhelming on my $2500 dollar high powered PC.

Update to Review: Need to fix recent update

Thank you so much for fixing the situation! You hit the nail on the head for what was going on. I can now get back to work which is really great XD It really is a great app. I’ll blame Apple 😜

I couldn’t find a way to let the company know that the app has completely glitched out with the last update today to the point that I can’t even do my job. I’m quite upset 🤬 I will be happy to change this to a 5 star once this is fixed.

Hi Jeline02, You may have experienced visual problems in the app if you updated your iPad to iOS 14.2. We released a new update to the app that addresses that, so please try again.

Portrait mode!! 2020

I’m not quite sure why Dynamics App like a website inside an app container. No plan to fix this?
Also, how come there is no way I can hold the app in vertical mode.

Absolutely the worst

Every time a download is released, you lose all your settings...and this happens often. This doesn’t happen with any other app. I would give it negative stars if I could. Microsoft should be ashamed of itself for a product like this.
