Great app for amateur radio ops
After having used this app for sometime now I can safely say it has proved quite useful (especially for an app developed based on such strong communist principles)! However, I think it would really be over the top if the developer could add a feature that makes me breakfast for the next release.nomkrow
Communistic Metric-No Miles
Just like their other apps, only comes in the communistic metric measurement and not designed to be used within the United States where true measurements are used. If this app came with a settings button to convert to miles, it would be a 5 star app.ReconMarine911

The United States contest (ARRL Microwave) that this App is used and was written for, scores contacts in kilometers not miles. I decided that if I allowed the program to display miles then it would be likely that someone would enter miles for their score instead of kilometers. If for example you made a 161 kilometer microwave contact and forgot that you were displaying miles, you would score the contact as 100 points instead of 161. So, that’s why I decided to not have miles conversion in my free App.

Description of DBHamPlus
Compute distance and bearing using Maidenhead location. This was originally intended for use by amateur radio operators who participate in microwave communications however it can be used by any ham in order to determine a distance and bearing to another radio amateur.
This version adds a map of the source and target along with a pin annotation and an overlay identifying the six-digit grid area. If a user touches an empty location on the screen for one second a new annotation is added at that spot identifying the grid. Any user-added annotations are removed if the map view is exited and re-entered.
