App for Cornwall User Reviews

Top reviews

Very in accurate and non intuitive.

Simple to use but searching for coffee houses in st Ives 1 mile from me I had places all over come up, such as in Falmouth. I also had numerous restaurants that I saw in town never show up. I immediately deleted the app.

Could be better - the business side could be more locally specific

The location service doesn’t work in the app.
If then use the website to see what’s in your area there have been very few businesses utilise the space.
If promoted right could be a really good place for local businesses to promote themselves and for local people to gain an awareness of what is in their area.
As a local user I find the content is quite limited... I know there’s an Asda & a petrol station in my town as there is in most, would be nice to see though some small independent businesses appear on here and to see a nice directory of what each town has to offer other than the usual supermarket and occasional tourist attraction. Fingers crossed this improves with time.

Location not Working

Location based search is not working in this app which makes it very difficult to find anything of interest near by. This is true whether you are narrowing down a search from one of the topic tiles or going to the main search tile.

Needs updating

Lot of out of date vouchers, needs updating.

Surprised

Very surprised at the amount and quality of information on this app. Feel I have all the info I need to take with me for the family holiday.

Not working??

Downloaded this as I saw it in mag and tried it. Most of the stuff I clicked on came up with "NO RESULTS" so I am deleting it. Not wasting the space on my phone or the time to look for things to find out it hadn't got anything to show. This was 4th July 2017

Almost there...

We traveled to Cornwall for the first time in May 2017 and came prepared with this great app, showing SO many wonderful places to visit, giving lots of information and links to websites etc, plus as a bonus, discounts for many attractions :)

However, we noted once we arrived that, arguably, one of the most famous attractions in Cornwall, The Lost Gardens of Heligan, just outside St. Austell wasn't in this app? Really!
It's been there for decades, so absolutely no excuse and I'm just wondering now, that if something as famous as that can be omitted from this app, how many other attractions aren't showing either?

As long as you have Google by your side, you have all bases covered to discover the many hidden gems within this wonderful part of the country.
It's just a shame you can't Totally rely on this app for all things Cornwall :(

Very good!!!

Comprehensive list of all types of things to do in Cornwall. The 'near me' feature is especially useful although this should maybe be given a more prominent place on the apps home screen.

Improvements abound ...

In the interests of fairness I have revisited this app since its incept. Cornwall boasts the longest coastline of England with some of the most dramatic scenery in the country. From the county’s border defined by the river Tamar to the furthermost point in the Scilly Isles, there is too much to see in a lifetime. This app attempts to point you to the places that you would want to find during your holiday or visit and in this aspect it is good. It is, however, important to point out that Cornwall is also one of the poorest counties in England and has not had a fair investment in communications. Beyond the towns, you will find mobile coverage poor or non-existent and it is important that you download information you may want before embarking on a trip. That is not the fault of the app.

A holiday must have !

Have just spent Christmas in Cornwall. Can't recommend this app highly enough. Really helped us plan our days out and saved us a couple of pounds too.

Best thing was that I could even use it when I lost my network. Absolute winner.
