  • A lot of potential

Love the premise. Nothing wrong with going back to the basics. Couldn't put the game down and binge played straight through to the end.

    More!!!!!
  • Love it but

I personally loved the this game it has A cool retro style look and is fun to play. But I think it is too short. I beat it in A quarter of a day but it was fun though.
  • Simple but fun

It's what it says it is: really simple RPG. Quick (I beat it in a morning) and simple, but I enjoyed it. Even downloaded the next game in the series. If you like NES or SNES Final Fantasy or Dragon Warrior games, you'll like this.
  • Piece of crap

This game was made by a drunk 8 year old. It looks like they made this game with an app on their phone.
  • Fun but short!

This entertained me for a few hours. I'm always down for some old school RPG action, and this doesn't disappoint. I wish there was a smattering of comedy, but that's just the flavor of old RPG I love, not a criticism. <3
  • Old school RPG

Enjoyed it. Wish there were sound effects, even if basic.
  • Wow!

Simple mechanics, fun, extremely fast paced dungeon crawler really lets you see progress. I would rate lower for it being short but there is a second game! I've played through this game multiple times and it's a fun game to come back to after years.
  • Charming little game done very well

Proves you don't need excellent graphics to make a great game. No big story but game play works very well.
  • Ignore The Haters

This game is well done and is retro styled. The demands for mini maps and such would ruin the fun of the game. The whole point of the game is to explore it. It's very hard to get overly lost unless you're just moving around and not even glancing at your surroundings. The complaints about not being able to beat areas and not being able to just buy your way to max stats and beat the game. This game is a RPG. Go buy a better weapon or farm a little to level up. I finished the game with little to no farming at all so it's definitely possible. I'm currently downloading the sequel now. Keep this up. I love where you're going with this.

  • An uninspired diversion

Saga RPG bills itself as a "retro" RPG. If anything, it indicates that without a story, interesting characters, or appealing graphics, the mechanics of "retro" RPGs boil down to level grinding and not much else.
