Ok but 1 major problem
This game is a lot of fun with it's small download but the only thing is that when you start the game it's just that. Nothing. For about 15 minutes i had no idea what to do where to go or anything. If the developers add just 1 line of text at the start of the game say what to do and maybe a mini map you can pull up it would be 100% betterShow lessfinalupdate
What I've been wanting for ages!
Finally, finally! A game of the true old-school type that isn't based on cards and isn't so graphic-y that it detracts from the experience. I've been waiting for something like this for a long, long time.nik-nak
Fun and fast
Fast paced rpg. It is a bit short but I was expecting a long drawn out game. Very fun and fast paced. Playing the sequel now. Definitely would recommend.Onyx8565

Potential
The game is very retro old school RPG with simple graphic. One down side is graphic that looks like a cut and paste job. Another down side is the awkward controller that have direction buttons and menu button at the bottom of the screen. You could easily miss press the button when you try to go left. As a result, you would equip wrong equipment. It is just an annoyance.
The game is pretty short but teach you how a grinding game would be. It doesn't have potion or magic but a straight hack and slash your way through. The only important equipment in the game is the weapon. Your armor has very little effect on how much a monster could damage you.

I love these types of games!
Its a pretty basic RPG, but has a ton of potential. Games like these are totally interesting on IOS devices, but the games are always better when the graphics are good. And thats where this game comes in, there should be more graphics in animation, background, enemies, and more attacks. Also more of the story should be involved. But it is very good, just needs to put more effort into it.Show lessGamefunguy7
A solid start
I enjoy this game. It's a simple throwback to older games like the original Dragon Quest, that said, it is VERY simple. You said you purposefully made it simple to gauge the reaction, that's fine, I hope that also means you'll go deeper with the mechanics and aesthetics as well. The buttons are to close together, i constantly hit multiple buttons at once and save or bring up my inventory on accident. Also, having to tap each order one square at a time is a bit annoying, being able to simply hold down right or down or up would be great. Combat is incredibly shallow and inflexible, a bit more randomness in damage would be good, and more orders than simply attack or run would be much appreciated.
You made a decent throwback, I'd like to see you go more in depth with this. The results could be pretty good.Show lessAMS - DMB
