The free version of this app includes only 20 species, which is not enough to discern whether it contains enough data to be useful. You can upgrade to the pro version for $9 but that only includes 300 species which is not even close to being useful. If the free version contained 300 species and the pro version contained good, reliable information on several thousand species, $8.99 would be a great deal. With 300 species, the pro version isn’t useful regardless of price. Too bad, because they layout and features otherwise seems pretty good as a reference to accompany a good photo ID app in the field.Show lessjustinulysses

I’m giving this two stars mostly for effort and future potential. It’s difficult to navigate without a set of instructions. I expected to be able to download a picture and the app give me the best match, as my plant & bug identifier apps do. Instead, it’s left up to the opinions of other people using the app, which can be all over the map. IT NEEDS A PHOTO IDENTIFIER - BOTH NEWLY TAKEN AND FROM OUR LIBRARIES! Stop wasting my time with converting me to paying for your upgrade (that may be just as lacking.Show lesssick&tiredofBillionaires
Doesn’t even have common varieties
Signed up for their Pro edition ($8) only to realize it doesn’t even have Reishi or Lions Mane. What are these guys doing in the mushroom game?!?!DWgrooves

The usual subtle scam to lever money
Like so many apps this one is not up front about what fees you are expected to pay for the info you want. I’d rather look at a few adverts and get it for free personally than have my time wasted.The 1 Vinnie V
