It’s almost perfect.

Your Limited to copy and paste only one melody per track so there’s no mixing around different parts that you may like to use.
Extremely Difficult to stretch your notes to the desired length within the segment.
Unable to drag segments around wherever you want them.

It’s nice for generating short ideas but I wouldn’t use this to compose an entire song as it is currently.

Wonderful App!

Great learning tool for music theory and composing. It would be nice if it included the option to harmonize (automatically) with full chords (for chord instruments) and to include chords on the score sheet (jazz scores). Looking forward to future updates as this app has much potential for all aspiring and professional musicians and composers.

Where is this going?

A good idea, which needs further refinement and development. Possibly one to keep an eye on.

Outstanding App on IPad Pro

I just discovered ver 3.6 and loaded it on my ipad pro 9.7 music dedicated iPad. I have been looking for a compositional tool like this for a long time. it is just amazing once I downloaded the manual and got into the program. I highly recommend this for all composers, beginners or advanced. The output possibilities are excellent to say the least.

I also have it running on an iPad Air 1 also with ease.

Needs a little work

This is an impressive app but not all it could be. The transport control is minimal and really frustrating when you want to edit a section and have to scroll all day to find the edit points. This version also has some grit on the audio but no way to adjust the buffers so I don't know if it's the samples or my phone. I think the features are impressive as far as importing via midi etc. but the interface still needs some improving. Maybe it should be iPad-only for better results.

Seems good so far

@doublebassdog: That's an iTunes problem, I've had it happen with other apps. Contact Apple. If it were an app problem you should contact the dev directly anyway, not in a review.

Haven't used this a whole lot yet, like what I see so far though.

Huh?

Used this app for a couple of weeks and loved it. Then... Tried to update it! It never updated. In fact, it stopped in the middle and has been hung up there ever since. I can't use it, I can't delete it, I can't reload it. It's just taking up space on my 3rd generation iPad in never-never land. Anyone else? If it worked I would give it 5 stars.

A stand-out app for composing on iOS devices

I am very happy with the app and the redesigned upgrade certainly makes it much, much better. Simple interface, tons of instruments and it lends itself to some neat creative uses.

Real fun, kinda strange

Real fun app, sorta weird but so many good ideas from it.

Holy Cow!!!!

This is just amazing. If you can hear it in your head, you can make it a reality. This is just so much fun to work with! I am completly blown away. Easy interface; great harmonizing. I feel like I can really release a creative part of me that was locked up. So cool.
