  • Computer rarely calls trump

More than half the time the “up” suit isn’t ordered/picked up, and then trump is not called by anyone so either the hand folds or if you play “stick the dealer” - the dealer finally makes it after everyone has passed. Please fix this.
  • Rigged

This app is definitely rigged judging by the number of nines and tens that are dealt to the north/south team. Also when a king is led by north/south, the east west team always has the ace of that suit.
  • Recent upgrades skewed.

Have enjoyed this game for quite a while. The current version is unrealistically skewed towards the computer. 3 trump without the right bower + a double in a second suit will lose virtually every time, and opponent gets an abnormal number of 2 point hands. Also have not found a “setting “ way to make partner a “decent” player. Currently my record is 2348 wins vs 1052 losses, but recently stats are way off so I have to conclude it’s a “version thing”. Also when computer declares trump with 9 points, it will NEVER BE EUCHRED.

  • Don’t bother

The developer has rigged the game so that no matter what you have, the computer will always have a better hand. Convenient that the second player the computer plays with just has the cards they need to win the points. What a crock.
  • Meh

This is mostly an Okay version—lots of misdeals because the bots won’t call trump unless they are loaded. Also trying to start a new game is frustrating; I am continually asked whether to delete or save the current game, which was just finished, but my response is ignored and a new game still doesn’t start. Usually about 5 minutes to start a new game.

  • Euchre

Love this version, but as others have pointed out, the computer partner plays wrong quite often. For example, I’ve already won the trick and he takes it with a trump card, only to have junk remaining in his hands for the rest of the hand. Invariably we los the hand because of his misplay. Uggghhh, pretty frustrating.

  • Poor playing by bots

I gave this two stars because I love euchre and there are so few apps available.
However, the bots play so badly. Examples: failure to lead bowers when holding a possible loner, partner led off suit king instead of bowers, king and queen of trump. Loses the opener and then cannot help but take every other trick. Partner takes my left with their right, but then later loses to outstanding ace when leading their remaining low trump. Partner gets set when we have both bowers and it’s holding two low trump!

If there were small errors that rarely affected outcomes, then this could be 4 or 5 stars. When the bots’ play lacks even beginner-level understanding of the game and this adversely affects play (opponents appear to never fail to play properly), then it is intentional and detracts from an otherwise reasonable app.

  • Needs work

Let me say that this is not bad for a freebie but it could still be A LOT BETTER in just the basics. For starters the partner seems to have no clue when to throw off, how to lead or even effectively call trump. It's either pass 95% of the time or order up some fringe hand and get us euchred. It's also amazing how the AI manages to deal itself so many incredible hands as well as loners when it's trailing by multiple points. Ads have never been an issue but I certainly wouldn't pay for the current product.

  • Better than most

This game is better than others I’ve played. I agree with other reviewers that the pop up “I win!” is unnecessary and distracting. I was confused at first because it’s sometimes unclear who has named trump if you are distracted from the game for a while. The other Euchre games I’ve played have the bots naming trump with nothing but maybe a left and nine in their hand. This one doesn’t do that so much, so I’m not as angry with my “partner”. Of course, nothing is as much fun as playing with real people.
