  • Stromer needs to get its act together

    Great bike but terrible app. The app doesn’t connect with bike most of the time . Lock/unlock is so on reliable . Invested more than 10k usd on this bike for this ? You need to get a proper software team and not skimp on connectivity hardware on the bike . This is a 10k bike . If blue tooth is connected you can’t use the app , if helmet is connected you can’t use the app

  • I feel robbed and cheated

    After shopping around for the perfect bike I came upon the ST2 at a discounted price. Everything seemed perfect about this bike… I even watched Anna on YouTube explaining the Omni App. This is what clenched the deal, I thought this was great being able to track my bike if it is stolen along with all the other features. Well, nothing about this app works, I can’t even get the bike to connect to my iPhone via BT. When I look for my bikes location on my app it shows it somewhere along the route I had taken, not at my location… even after refreshing it it still doesn’t show it at my location. It’s a shame this is a problem after paying so much for the bike. Maybe it’s a network problem here in the U.S. with the 3G.

  • The app developer refuses to correct the temperature bug of this app

    After buying an ultra-premium-priced Stromer e-bike via their official local dealer, I discovered that the bike app displays always temperature in Fahrenheit; regardless of the e-bike’s as well as this app’s settings being set in metric (vs imperial) and regardless of my iPhone’s settings/region/temperature being set at Celsius. After I contacted their customer support and reported the error I got the reply that their app it is as it is and they refused to correct this error in their app. In fact, they even tried to throw the blame on my side, insisting that this is a problem with my iPhone’s region settings, regardless that they got from me a screen capture of my iPhone’s region settings being set at the Celsius temperature setting. Quite problematic behavior by a supposedly premium e-bike brand

  • Bike registration

    I connected my new Stromer, but never received a text or email verification, which provides the first randomly generated PIN. no FAQ on this.

  • Poor testing

    The app is functioning reasonably well. Clearly some very simpler device testing is missing.
    User manual option returns a 404 page.
    The profile section has entry of height and weight, but the keyboard only open and doesn’t close so you cannot enter any data.
    The daily distance counter doesn’t work, 8 hours after a ride nothing is shown.
    Lock / Unlock is unreliable at best.

  • GPS / map unusable

    I believe that bike/app integration is completely broken. Connections to the bike fail most of the time and the app always tells me that the Stromer I'm sitting on is 1km away. Unusable!

    GPS keeps showing my bikes last location not current location
  • Good app

    Excellent for managing the settings on the Stromer ebike.
    Lacks ability to show technical metadata of the bike and any troubleshooting at all, but that would take revenue from the “dealers.”
    Also, if you’re concerned about the stats reported the app AND if you have more than one bike you may want to put each bike on its own account

  • lacking

    first off, the new features of the app only show km/ kmh. my units are set to miles - was that really missed in testing?!? (which is why i rated it one star)

    secondly, this app basically targets just maintaining your bike/ settings. i would expect it to provide MUCH more feedback in today’s world of data. i would be happy with just the basics, such as:
    - tracking routes on a map (the bike already tracks via gps)
    - trending amount of motor usage throughout a route vs speed/ etc to show my effort.
    - various helpful ways to display that data, perhaps considering an integration with third party apps like stravia

    so much potential, yet so far to go.

  • Buggy App

    Descent app, but it often has connectivity issues with my bike or just won’t load even though I keep it up to date. It could be better organized and more intuitive as well.
