  • More pollen types - yay!

The new version of the app, with additional pollen types, is very helpful. I can already see a correlation between Cypress pollen counts and my symptoms. I can’t do anything about the stand of 7 gigantic cypress trees in the neighbours yard … but my symptoms seem less random now - and I can use the app forecasts to encourage me to keep on track with using my corticosteroid spray.

  • Wish it gave tree, mold and other pollen counts

Like site and very helpful during the high grass season issues. But it would also be more helpful if it gave info all year round and counted trees, mold and other pollen or high areas that effect people’s allergies. i.e. mold, trees, ragweed, etc
  • Takes away the guess work

I developed allergies in my 40s having never experienced this bane of the warming months. The denial was real. This app has helped me understand the cycle of my symptoms and manage them more effectively. Thank you 🙏🏽
  • Hey fever is cruel 20/10 for this app

I’d love to thank you for your app, I’m 47 years old girl from the south east of Melbourne and have had hey fever all my life, this app helps me everyday in hey fever season, I now know in advance what’s coming, I’m allergic to all Australian pollens, dust and dirt, I get hives, itchy eyes which makes me rub them hard and have permanent dark eyes cause I have bruised them over my life time.
I hate hey fever it’s cruel.
Thanks so much again, 20/10 for this app
    Thanks regard Tracey H 😊

  • A life saver!

Fantastic app that allows me to plan my day ahead and understand the effects of hay fever whenever I go outside.

    Feedback for the app developers:
I would love if this app was integrated with Siri so I could just ask Siri :)
  • Useful App for Asthmatics

I’ve used this app daily this season as a barometer to see if it’s safe or not to be out during high to extreme pollen days. Even wearing a mask, I have had wheezing episodes, so the Melbourne pollen app could be a potential life saver for severe asthmatics. Thank you for this service.
  • forewarned is forearmed

I love this app, it has really been super useful. The thunderstorm asthma warnings are great. The app provides me with peace of mind. Great work!

Can you make a setting that allows users to opt in to receive a daily reminder to complete the survey? Perhaps an option to enter previous days? I would complete the survey every day if only I remembered!

  • It’s a great app.

I really like this app and it is easy to see what the pollen grass count is for the day. If only it didn’t glitch when I open it, it closes up again and I don’t know why. It took me a few goes and about 30 minutes of trying to see what today’s count was. If that gets fixed I would appreciate it as I find I am using the app every day throughout the day.
Thank you for making the app.

  • Useful but careful when migrating devices

Very useful for Melbournians who all become a sneezing wheezing mess from late September to early December as the grass pollens descend on the city. Be aware that there seems to be a big of you register on one device then migrate to another device - you can’t participate in the survey anymore (but can still get reports)

  • Great app!! Thank you.

This app is great as both my son and I have hay fever and we both get asthma. His more severe than mine. The app is great at forewarning so we are prepared. I share the warnings on social media if it’s an extreme warning for those that don’t have the app. Thank you for taking the time to help people. It’s greatly appreciated.
