Simply Invaluable!
This a a must for any serious photographer. It does everything it claims and more. When I’m in the field, I use it many times per day. In addition to previsulization, it functions as a notebook for scouting potential shots. The gps function enables return to the precise location. I always use it to locate and set my initial tripod position.
The map function could be enhanced with the addition of a direction indicator. Easier access to the time/date data would also be an improvement.Show lessA disgruntled professor

Z-Cam E2-F6 is missing
This app is good but unfortunately don’t have any Z-cam flagship in its virtual camera setting. I hope they add this soon. Many filmmakers are using this cinema camera now.ansanchez

You can add any camera, even if it's not in the app's database, using either "generic" equipment or the "custom camera" feature. Using generic equipment is described on pages 41-42, and creating custom cameras is discussed on pages 42-45 of the Viewfinder Handbook (free download from https://www.artistsviewfinder.com/handbook/). Saves time and saves film
I shoot several formats of film with a variety of equipment and often the setup time is a consideration. I have relied on this app to help me check the composition With various lenses in these formats for years and it has saved me a lot of time and even wasted film. In regards to the latter, if I were to go through the motions of setting up something like my 8x10 view camera, I might be inclined to expose a couple of sheets of film even though the image may not be as refined as I want. Worth every penny
At first I balked at the $30 price. But it seemed to do exactly what I needed and the other reviews were good so I bought it. I am extremely impressed.
I use it to scout for shooting locations. I can see what different cameras look like with different lenses. It captures gps data so I can find my way back carrying just the gear I need.Show less69bob6969
