The new look and feel is cleaner and easier to read, and there’s a fresh new home screen icon to match. The app now opens to the map screen, giving you easy access to tide times, VHF channels, boat ramps and other helpful info. MarineMate is a smartphone app that allows you to access information on tide times, boat ramp locations, VHF channels, marine reserves and local boating rules wherever you go in New Zealand, all at the palm of your hand. Oceans, rivers lakes. Always bring your mate! Tide info Access information on tide times. VHF channels Stay connected and find the local VHF channel. Marine reserves Find the marine reserves and their rules and permitted activities. Customary management areas Find Mātaitai and Tāiāpure, their rules and permited activities. Safety checklist A handy list to help you pack your essentials. Notices and local boating info Up-to-date info about local events and boating rules for wherever you go.
