While I understand people's request for midi, etc, this is an $8 app for crying out loud! I used this all over the Ghosts of Vinyl album and it sounds great. Great job guys and thanks for a VERY cheap (affordable) way to get Mellotron sounds.
Distorted sound on iPhone 6s
Etreaz is right, I had this app on my iPhone 5s and it worked perfect. But now on my iPhone 6s, the sound is awful because of some weird distortion.
Please fix this!!! This is my favorite app of all time and I need it working for my next record!

I can play the app on my iPad Pro, but, NOT via midi from my Nord keyboard. Am I doing something wrong? Please help! 😀

I have owned several original Mellotrons in my life including a very rare dual keyboard Mellotron Mark V.
After talking with people involved in the company currently the one thing we all want which is to be able to play this app from a real keyboard via MIDI will never happen because they want us to buy the two digital versions of the Mellotron. Which for me isn't an option now or probably anytime in the near future due to the cost of several thousand dollars. Sure I'd love an M4000 D but since I paid eight bucks for an app that basically is a toy since I can't control it from Midi controller like all my other vintage apps, iMini, iSEM, iProphet, Waldorf Nave I'm very disappointed. i'm still using one of my emu system's digital samplers and the CD ROM of Melachaw and sounds triggering it from a keyboard it would be so convenient to be able to have my Akai Synthstation controller/iPad dock control this app.

Love mellotron, but 6s broken
Love the idea, but sound on 6s is crazy distorted. Needs to be fixed. Pretty much unusable in the current state.
Distortion is terrible on the 6S
I loved this app when I had the iPhone 5, but now, the sound is distorted since upgrading to the 6S. Please fix! I loved emulating the sounds of the Moody Blues.

This sounded fantastic on my 5S, but since upgrading to 6S+, I now know what the users mean: the distortion is incredible, and not in the good way. Pleeeeeease update this, the app is too good!
Almost, but not quite
Great app guys, but that is not the classic mellotron strings sound! For £6 I expect to be able to play along with Starless by King Crimson & not hear any difference.
