This has a nice collection of sounds and is fun to play, however a lack of MIDI and Audiobus keeps me from using this app on stage or for anything professional.
Amaze O Tron
What I have in my hand now are Mellotron sounds by pressing buttons on my phone. I can record this by running an aux cable out of my headphone jack to make berserk Mellotron sample compositions. Lacking the true presence and vibration of the original instrument obviously but seriously who cares when you have a 8 dollar iMellotron. Just run these samples through a wonky cabinet or something to get some physicality. 20 star app.

Great sounds, sounds great
Downloaded this today as I love the sound of the Mellotron in classic rock and prog rock music. It sounds awesome played through the iLoud speaker. Don't know if it works with other music apps yet but on its own it is cool. Dixieland is great fun too. Well done guys!
Surprisingly Uncanny
I've had this app for a while now, and since I can't (and probably never will) be able to afford a real Mellotron, this is a pretty useful substitute. The key response could be more sensitive. The notes will often be slightly latent. However, I've used it in recordings and have relieved some very positive feedback.
