Answer to my Packing prayers
I am a private chef and I love this long awaited app from my food hero. I have lugged 4 versions of the hard cover book around the world several times in the last 10 years so having all this content for $50 on my iPad is worth every cent. My much loved and used books can stay in their homes now and the App travels with me. Top cooking app, highly recommended often to everyone. Thanks Stephanie

I have been thinking about updating my Cook's Companion, as it will be too tatty to use one of these days, and when I do, I think I will be replacing it with this digital version. Much cheaper than the cost of the hardback and perfectly portable and accessible! Thanks :)
Very convenient
I can replace my huge book collection with just a single app, you don't even need internet to use it, perfect for at the supermarket
Very Disappointing
The content sold for this app is expensive particularly as it is based on a widely purchased book. I took a look to see if it would be more convenient to use and reference than the book but I will be uninstalling this app. Perhaps of interest if youu dont own The Cooks Companion.
A Comprehensive and Informative App
This app is an essential companion for anyone serious about food and cooking. It is also very accessible with VoiceOver, for any vision impaired cooks. The videos are informative and clearly explained, and the collection of recipes is the most comprehensive I have seen in an app to date, ranging from beginner to advanced. There are also comprehensive ingredient and equipment references and a measurement conversion reference. A must have app, highly recommended.

At last!
I've always thought the Cook's Companion was the best Australian cook book ever published and I use it constantly. To have it now on my iPad is absolutely awesome. Thanks Stephanie, this is brilliant.
Amazing breadth of content.
So wonderful to have the "kitchen bible" in digital form. It's like an encyclopedia of food. Love that in the App version you can search and filter by topic eg vegetarian, BBQ or meals under 30 mins. Fab for looking up ingredients when at the supermarket!
Best cooking App I've seen
I love this App, I use the Cook's Companion book daily in my kitchen but will love having this App on hand at the supermarket and when on holiday. I've already discovered recipes that I hadn't ever found in the book! Love how easy it is to find things. Highly recommended.
An iPhone must have!!

Excellent cooks guide
Having long been a Stephanie fan I was intrigued by this app. It looks great and is easy to use. I especially like the videos and the ability to add your own motes. Well done!
