Leave a Review Weber® iGrill®
You can’t keep riding on fumes
One year since last update. Before it was bought by Weber, the app was essentially the same. Years and years and years with no significant update. Please, either support it or kill it. Today it’s functional for basic smoking and grilling. It needs to be enhanced so we can see projected temperature slope on the graph, suggested temp adjustment to hit time/temp goals, defining multiple stages of temp goals, actually being able to see the whole temp graph at once with Bluetooth dropouts filled in. Ability to take notes and log a history of grilling/smoking events. Hardware is good although would like to see a WiFi connected version.Show lessDoesn’t work as advertised.
Works to check temperature remotely. Has a feature that allows you to set a target temperature for whatever you are cooking, however this feature doesn’t work. It doesn’t actually notify that the cook is done unless you actively check it. For example, smoking a brisket overnight, I set the target temp to 195F. I verified that notifications were on for the app and left the app open. I woke up at 5am it hadn’t notified that it was at temperature yet so I picked up the phone to check and had to pull the app up from the background. As soon as I did, it notified me that my cook temperature was at 210F, so ruined brisket. Double checked notification settings and everything is on. Maybe it would work if the phone is set to never lock but it seems that if the phone locks the app stops running making the target temp feature useless.Show lessLove this tool
We love our iGrill. No more guessing if our chicken or salmon are is done. Even to my watch. Have given many to others as gifts too. As a longtime user and fan I think the option to select multiple probes when I’m using a preset makes so much sense. Who is only cooking one chicken breast or steak? We all place multiple pieces on the grill in one session - make this easier. Very frustrating when you have to set the same thing 4 times. I’m picking on this one miss but as a longtime user this seems easy to fix.Show less
