They could have used this app to inform them in a timely manner or put this information on their website but they chose not to.

It seems they chose not to encrypt your data either.

Patient’s protected health information was stolen including dates of of birth, prescription information, medical record and insurance information, addresses, phone number, names of prescribers, Medicare number, email address, and more.

They waited two months to notify patient then did so with a mass bulk mail. In that letter, they made no apology and offered one year of free credit monitoring service…. A year….
This breach could lead to identity theft lasting a lifetime. I’d give this app and this company ZERO STARS if that were possible.

Why they didn’t seem to encrypt our personal health information, contact their customers sooner, or offer a minimum of five years of protection is beyond me.

And why Equifax? They had a massive data breach of their own exposing the data of over 147 million people in 2017. Yep, that’s a GREAT company to trust with monitoring your data. 🙄

It’s unfortunate, I like the customer service agents and they’re quick and friendly. But whoever advised them of responding to this data breach… WORTHLESS
