I am definitely happy with this app only think is I would like to get paid in Pound not in euro am paying money to the misterb&b and I’m top of that paypal for exchanging the money and that’s isn’t fare

Great app with HUGE FLAWS
This is a really good platform and pretty much better than of the other more popular ones that are out there. But I have to say the fact that they really over-control how you can communicate across messages with your potential guests and hosts is annoying and makes you want to use the app less. I have been a host on this platform for eight years now and have had over 105 star reviews from my guests. But the more you try to control how people interact, the less they want to work with you. Airbnb does not freak out if you want to exchange social media profiles, in order to see whom you are going to be sharing an accommodation with. MrB&B is manic about it and flags you like crazy. they suspended my account for several weeks with no notice and no details or information for simply trying to communicate better with a potential host. I always like to do business in-app because there is insurance with doing everything through the site. However, they tend to make it very difficult when you can’t even exchange photographs of each other to see who we might be sharing a house with.
The customer service used to be much better but now it’s pretty much automated and difficult to communicate with. Sadly, like many companies out there, they seem to have gotten too big for the britches and have become too big brother.

Good…but!
Update: Still not getting the verification text, I click the link for support and get an AI bot that doesn’t understand the question ‘I’m not receiving the verification text…yes the number is correct and yes I have mobile signal, the app simply isn’t working and I have a host who will lose out on a guest and I’ve made sure they know this.
This app is great for what it is, finding safe gay places to stay…but please for all that is holy, stop asking me every time I press a button to turn on notifications, I should be able to close that window once and that’s the end of it…instead every time I open the app I get the prompt page, every time I click to search I get the prompt page…it’s so annoying I’m going to delete the app once my trip is over, it’s a horrible user experience, irritating and unnecessary. Also I can’t get the phone verification text so I might be deleting sooner than that as I can’t pay at the moment. Great idea but get QA on the case with the notifications.

Malheureusement non disponible en mode horizontal
L’application est intéressante mais un gros défaut c’est que l’on ne peut regarder celle-ci en mode horizontal sur une tablette Apple. Un peu de travail sur ce point serait apprécié.

Not a great place
This hotel does not look like the pictures at all. Smoking is allowed inside, so the whole hotel smelt like cigarette smoke, including my room. The room I got was not the one I booked in the photo. Reception definitely did not give gay friendly vibes. Would not recommend staying here, not sure who gave it a rating to say it was LGTBQ+ friendly because it’s not giving that at all. I ended up checking out early because I didn’t like the place. Honestly, you’re better of booking Airbnb’s in Turkiye, as hotels in Turkiye require you to register your guests, which is annoying and invasive.

Simple and works!
I stayed at a couple of places and it’s generally simple and intuitive to use. I did struggle a bit with finding locations and this is perhaps the weakest aspect of it, but otherwise al went well!

A great way to meet other gay locals around the world
As a gay man, I’ve always wanted to connect with other gay men when I’m travelling around the world and this app is perfect, all my hosts have been wonderful and have shown me so much of gay culture, definitely more than if I did it by myself. I’ve made great friends with benefits through here so thank you.
