Disaster
The app does not work. It should discover the playbulb but it fails to do so. Honestly, it should not be that hard to make a functional application. Very disappointed.
Won't play music
Using an iPhone 6 I have been able to control light function but cannot play music. Unable to find help on the topic. But found a solution If you connect both Bluetooth devices and rename one to playlight it works great . Two devices come up in Bluetooth settings and both must be connected . Once I got it working this device works awesome .

A total waste of money
My phone does not see the bulb at all.
Got it working...
I can pair the device and control the light but I cannot play sound through the bulb yet. Have emailed their support desk so will see what happens...

Same problem/Solution
Use the "playbulb color" app. Worked on my regular playbulb.
Does what it needs.
I'd give a two an a half star. App doesn't crash an does what it says it says, bonus. But the EQ button has a couple different modes but it doesn't tell you what mode it's on, negative.
Decent app all in all but I wish they would update it, lacks in graphics and options.

Works Great
This play bulb and the app work fantastic together. The dimming feature works great and the sound produced by the speaker is surprisingly good for what it is and the size of the device. I will be recommending this to my friends and family.

Who thought you could get a bulb that plays music! Fantastic new technology.. Everyone that sees this wants one. The fact that you can dim your light through your phone is great! I recommend getting one of these kids love it! I only have one issue with the app and that's occasionally it can not detect the bulb however when this happens I can still play my music through it 😊❤️

Can't play on the bulb
I got this today and it doesn't play any music. I can sync and control the bulb but I'm out of answers on why it won't play. Not seeing anything on the web on why this issue exists.
