  • What’s up

What did you do on your last update you blew all my readings out and changed all of my glucose readings. Can you fix this or am I going to have to change the app.
  • Pre & Post Activity Periods Would be Great!

I’ve been using the app for a few weeks now. It mostly provides everything I need. Thanks! My Dr will be glad to have the data I’m able to track.

One suggestion is to have two more periods to choose from for ‘before activity’ and ‘after activity.’ Being active has a big impact on blood sugar and being better able to see that would be helpful.

  • Stop the pop ups

The review pop-up popped up as soon as I downloaded the app, and then again when I tried to enter my SECOND entry. I had to close the app then re-open it and now I’m writing this review so I can entire my info and USE the app.
  • Excellent Tool to record health data

I have found this program useful in helping me maintaining reading of sugar levels, blood pressure and weight. It allows me to export all date to my devices and data is always available for review by my healthcare provider. The only issue I have is it will not accept my height in feet and inches. Metric is ok!

Thanks for this positive feedback. You will be pleased to see the next release where you can add feet and inches properly :-)
  • Bait and switch

The app is not bad but you only have so many entries and the you have to buy the app. I will not use or recommend this to anyone. I also plan am making this know on social media. I do not like the bait and switch tactic.

    Developer Response

Hi, I am sorry if you feel like this. I tried my best to openly write about the In-App purchases that are available for the app in the app's description and I hope the app was also cleared marked with the In-App purchase sign. I used to charge directly for the app before but I was asked a lot of times to provide a trial version so I switched to an In-App model. Like this you can try the app for quite some time and if you feel it is worth it, then you can buy it. So if you feel that this is a bait and switch tactic then I am terribly sorry. This was never my intent.
  • Easy

Easy to use. Like seeing the graph. Wish I could easily input diet, but I mainly use it to keep tabs on my blood sugar
  • Great App!

Previously rated lower because I thought it had a problem with the blood pressure record, turns out it was operator error (i.e. Me). Love this app, it has helped me keep track of several indicators for me and my doctor to keep my diabetes under control. My doctor was so impressed with the reports it creates he asked what the app was so he could recommend it to his other diabetes patients. Don't think there's a better app out there that can do what this app does.

  • Great OS X and iOS apps

I have used both the iOS and the Os X version of DiapetesPal for some time now. It is spectacular. Both versions are intuitive, they work great together, and the author responds rapidly to email. My doctor really likes the report summaries it produces.
  • Best I have found!

I used the old Mac Diabetes Pilot app for the first 13 or so years of being diabetic, but went looking for a new app with similar capabilities when support was discontinued. I found Diabetes Pal, and was hooked.

When I found there was now an iOS version I could use on my iPad or iPhone I had to try it. It is not as full-featured as the main app, but it does everything I need it to do. No more scribbling my blood sugar reading on a napkin or iPad note to enter later, because the Mac and iOS versions sync seamlessly in the cloud.

Particularly important to me is the notes section. I use it to enter meals and carb counts, and to specify how long after a meal a reading was taken. This app has become a key part of my blood sugar management. (Last A1C- 6.3)

  • Great free app with a lot of data points!

Love this app! It is my favorite as it has a reasonable Mac app and iOS app that sync together using various syncing sources (iCloud Drive/Dropbox). Works well. Plug my Contour Next USB into Mac and sync data and data automatically goes to phone! Exactly what I need. Add data to watch on the go and it is on the phone/Mac when you come back to them.
