Ever since I upgraded to the newest version my crystals don't renew right. Sometimes it will take an hour for one and sometimes in 24 hours I will get 0!Tindilu

Fix
I have got to level 32 without buying anything and at times patiently waiting for my diamonds to restock. Really enjoy the game and one of the best tower defence games I've played. Very strategic BUT anytime I get close to completing level 32 it cuts out on me and when I go back on, less diamonds and need to start from start of level. Very frustrating. Great game but difficult.
Ok, let's be clear about this. This is a great tower defence game. Graphics and gameplay are great.
Yes the diamonds to start a level are annoying and you can't sit down and play this game for an hour. Why? Because it's very hard and your diamonds won't last that long!
Having said that, how you play each level matters. How you position your towers,which towers you use, how you upgrade your towers and how you use your diamonds. You don't have to spend real money if you don't want to!
Of course the IAP's are frustrating and I tend to stay away from free games, because I know what's coming. But this has me hooked.Show lessBjh2003
Have to pay to pass levels!
As the title says you have to pay for extra gems to pass levels when you hit the 20s. I am on level 22 and have tried every which way but still can not pass. I have maxed out all previous levels and have reset my upgrades numerous times and tried different combinations, each time costing diamonds. There Is simply one way of passing and that is to buy diamonds for each level. It's not even a one off otherwise I would be tempted to buy them for 99p but not for every level numerous times! This could be a great game but the developers have made it impossible to progress without a player continuously spending money. I'm done unless they scale it back. Can't recommend this in current form.BC1823
Potential but just a money grab in the end
The game gets fairly tough and you are encouraged to change your Power ups around to defeat a level. This costs 2 gems for each of the categories of power ups. You can only regenerate a maximum of 5 gems over a few hours. In addition it costs you one gem each time you play a level. The difficulty of the game pushes you toward spending some decent chunks of real world cash on gems to keep playing in the spirit of the gameplay. Persevered for quite some time without in app purchases but now deleting app. Happy to see corrections if my review is misplacedShow lessClanMcleis

Rip off, boring, unrewarding, repetitive
The problem with this game is that it's so unrewarding. Who wants to play a game that gives you a reward for beating the level (a crystal) just to make you spend that reward to play the next level. It's horribly repetitive, unrewarding, and a rip off of many other games with this exact same style. The only difference here is that you get to pay real money to play.Show lessJhilbert81836
