Awesome, but Crashes a Lot
Loved the flash original and now this Detective Grimoire! Awesome characters, writing and overall mystery. They’ve got a great framework for a detective game that keeps it from ever getting tedious. Can’t wait to start Tangle Tower!
Unfortunately though for this title, it crashed multiple times on my iPhone 7 running the latest version of iOS 13, most often upon tapping the question mark in the top right. It was also a little frustrating to find an item I was missing from outside the office, as it didn’t seem like there was much telegraphing it was there, and I felt that I had already searched it thoroughly. Also it ends kind of abruptly, though not as abruptly as the flash game, at least. There was some weird reluctant dialogue from Grimoire that didn’t make any sense to me.
Still loved the experience overall though, and highly recommend it of course!Show lessAwesomeNick94

Engrossing and entertaining!
Loved this game, the design and soundtrack are great, the game challenging but not frustrating, good story and pace.
I agree the game was short, but I’m actually happy with the length and I played it through in one long sitting - because I couldn’t put it down.
If more in this series are made I will definitely play!

I love these detective games but they normally let you down by having some too easy, needing you to buy energy for it, or it is just a let down.
This game is none of these, I was only disappointed that it finished too soon. I can’t wait for chapter two!Tobobo1982
Can you please make a sequel?
First of all, this game is stunning. The puzzles are hard, but not impossible, the graphics are nice and clean, and the story is interesting and mysterious. I would definitely like to recommend this game. But I would like to add if they could make a better ending? It feels like they just got lazy. I usually find these kinds of games to have too much dialogue and not enough interaction, but not this one. There is a lot of dialogue, but it was funny, and the voice acting was excellent, so I felt very caught up in the story. I loved how they made “thinking” a game mechanic, too. Very creative! I honestly didn’t expect this but this game has been updated and is now playable on latest IOS update. Yay! Also with updated graphics I see, awesome! This has made me so happy and it really came out of the blue. This game is such an enjoyable experience, so buy it if you haven’t already.Hrnshducdhd
