Fascinating
I am from the United States and have visited the UK 3 times in short stints for a week at a time. Ever since, I have been fascinated about learning about UK history. I also learned a good percentage of my DNA is English from around the London area and Ireland so it intrigues me even more.
This is a wonderful podcast and usually I hate podcasts or even audiobooks due to hearing pretentious voices. Your voice is not and your passion for the subject really comes across to the listener. I listen to about 5-6 episodes at nights when I am diamond painting which together is very relaxing. I plan on listening part of the way through and joining with a membership.Show lessJuliam1930

I found this podcast when looking for some info on Alfred. I was initially irritated that a British history podcast was being narrated by an American, though that was short lived as I listened to all the podcasts about Alfred then went back to the start and listened to everything. This is a great podcast and I am sorry I had such bad thoughts about Jamie first time out. I am a religious listener now.
