Needs fixing & improvements
Nice app, has lots of potential but the developers need to fix the following glitches and then release an update to resolve the following technical issues:
1. The “Calculation Methods” is set for “North America” by default and it allows a manual selection but it gos back to the default settings.
2. Similarly the “Juristic” default setting is set for “Shafii Hanbali and Maliki” and it allows a manual selection to “Hanafi” but it gos back to the default settings.
If I’m changing the default setting to a different option such as “Muslim World League” or “ Hanafi” then the app should be smart enough to accept my selection and don’t force or revert to the factory default “North America” and “Shafii Hanbali and Maliki”
Also lately, when I go to settings to change from default to my selection, the app freezes and I have to re-launch it.
If the technical team could resolve the above issues then this App will deserve a 5 Star rating and I would recommend it to all my friends, family and contacts but for now, I’m only giving it a 3 Star.

Overall performance and presentation
So this app out of all of them is better. By FAR, the navigation the features, and it was so worth it buying the one time premium purchase. The azan and the prayer times are good. BUT if you have a Apple Watch and once you turn on notifications in the iOS settings AND in the app settings make sure to go onto the Apple Watch app and go to notifications and turn them off for this app, if you want to hear the Athan because for me it wouldn’t work until I turned it off. Excellent app
This app does it all, and does it really well. Provides really good control over notifications which is key.
Tip: To get accurate qibla direction, make sure you are not using a magnetic item on MagSafe. That interferes with Compass.
Question: I use Hanafi method for calculation. However the app automatically keeps changing it back to Shafii every few days. Is there some way to make the calculation mention stay as Hanafi? The impact is primarily on the time for Asar namaz.Show lessFJ_MorganHill
Well Worth the Cost
This is by far the best Athan app on the App Store, including incredible features and regular updates, including some of the latest features the iPhone has to offer such as live activities, etc. I purchased the lifetime option a while back and have been very satisfied with the app, so it was well worth it. I would ask the developers to please allow an option where you can pay a one-time fee to allow more devices being logged into your account, since I’d like the app on my iPhone, iPad, work/personal MacBook, etc. The other thing that would be great to see is a notification option that sends another alert 15 or so minutes before a prayer is about to end, so that even if the starting notification is missed, I still get another reminder later to avoid missing my prayer. Glitched Athan audio
I downloaded Athan pro by myself because I needed and Athan app. I set all the times so that it would make a whole Athan notification, but after about two days it started to glitch the audio.. The time is up to date for the time change, but without Athan notifications ie; sounds it’s not worth downloading. Also every time I log on it tells me I should pay for a very expensive pack. I’d expect a bit cheaper price so it’s accessible for all brothers and sisters.. but high prices every few months. Eek.Show lessThe Rater 🙃
Premium doesn’t work
I bought the full version for life which mean no ads and widgets work etc. it doesn’t work and keep trying to make me purchase the app again. I have to delete the app and re download every two days for it to work properly and still asks me to buy the app again even after I restore purchase. Very annoyingShow lessaloooz
Do NOT Waste Your Money
I previously posted a review here that said the widgets on watchOS stopped working. Now, not only have those widgets stopped working, but the widgets on the iPhone itself have stopped working as well.
It tells me the reason I no longer have access to the widgets is because I do not have premium, but I DO. I repeatedly restored my purchases in the app (the app even confirmed I have premium in settings), I tried deleting and re-installing the app, and I tried restarting my phone. None of these work. I essentially wasted my money.
I will be deleting this app and never looking back. This is not the first time something like this has happened. It is a shame people are charging for this faulty product. MuslimPro and Quran Majeed are both significantly better alternatives that are way less glitchy and won’t steal your money.Show lessexpertstake

This app along with the other apps made like it has really helped me with my journey of being a muslim, I highly recommend it to all new Muslims, also you should definitely check out the Quran app they made too, it will track your prayers as well! ☪️GG burtt
Locking salah time behind a pay wall… wow
I’m all for supporting Muslims bros in business but they’re giving me a hard time to find a reason to support them.
I got this app to view salah times easily from my watch. Lo and behold, thuhr and magrib says premium members only. You need to pay hundreds of dollars to just view a salah time?!
I would have paid maybe a one time $2-4 fee for getting premium and helping out Muslim bro app instead of looking for another free athaan app. No problem. But these exorbitant prices for what?!Show lessحسن بن عبد القادر
Money makers
What an absolute money making scheme! Downloaded it as I wanted to check prayer times on my Apple Watch and they block out certain salah times as it is a premium feature. I wanted to check the time for Maghrib, while it was Asr time and it was blocked off?!?! Is this how you sell your premium features? This again is on top of adverts. I understand trying to make money off the app, but how can you try an up-sell the most basic feature, which is the prayer time. Uninstalled right away.
“Athan” app is a lot better. They have a premium sale too, however, that just removes ads and gives additional features, which is fair. Unlike these scammers who remove the most basic features.Show lessHonestReviewer27
