Need a refund!
I've used this for years. At first, I used it with ads but there would be times where an ad would come just as I was exiting the app. Not knowing the ad was there, it would block my alarm from alarming causing me to miss it of course. Once realized, this prompted me to go with the one time purchase (I didn't recall how much it was). The app works great for the most part until I add more than 3 alarms; it seems to pick which alarms it wants to alert.
Here's the problem... because I need more alarms and I can add any more to the version installed on my phone, I went to download it on my iPad. Upon installation I'm promoted to a subscription service. 🤔.... but I purchased it😕.... but now I have to pay more? Thankfully, for what ever reason the version on my phone doesn't have ads or offer a subscription but for those that pay the one-time purchase fee, we shouldn't be affected by a subscription and if so..

Didn’t wake me up
I was mostly okay with this alarm, despite the absolutely horrible ads; I was deciding whether to pay $20/yr to get rid of them (the alternative is $2/WEEK - insanity!), which I would have done if I had decided that this was the alarm for me. I like that it’s pretty simple, but also gives good options for using my own music on iTunes.
The app will only play my music to wake me up if I keep the app open the entire night (it uses the standard music otherwise). That seems pretty silly, but I was willing to work with it.
However, this morning, it simply didn’t go off. And I have no idea why. It was only by God’s grace that my work block just happened to be canceled - this app, on the other hand, got deleted immediately. The time on the app said 2:30 am (the time I set the alarm for), but the time was ACTUALLY 6:05 am. It showed that the alarm was going off, but it wasn’t. I did everything the same as always. The only thing I can think of that might have caused this was a disconnect from the wifi. If that’s the cause, then this app is a piece of junk.
I give it two stars instead of one because it COULD be a pretty nice app if they would just fix the bugs and use some common sense. I had read some reviews saying similar things about it not working right, and still continued using it hoping that it would work fine for me, but nope. I’m out.

Spam ads ruining this app
For now this app gets one star and I will change this if they ever resolve the MAJOR issue. Background: I paid for the ad-free version of this app and was extremely pleased with it’s functionality. For years it worked exactly as I expected it to. Fast forward to a few months ago when all of the sudden spam ads started popping up overnight in the app (same issue I am reading about from all the other poor reviews recently). These ads then flip the phone over to your preferred web browser and will eventually allow your screen to go dark. This dark screen does not allow the app to work properly. I have sent feedback to the developer and they have not responded to my question of if this will be fixed. At this point I have no confidence that this will be resolved. My guess is that they are just going for a money grab from an advertiser and don’t care about their own customers. If this do resolve the issue I’d be happy to slap a 5-star review on this. For now though I highly recommend anyone looking for an alarm clock app to avoid this one.

Happy at first
I downloaded this partly because it didn’t have in app purchases. Finally, something that would provide the functions I want without requiring an upgrade or monthly fee. It went fine for a week or two when I would click through the “done” and “x” buttons on an ad when I’d turn it on and then leave it for the night. It eventually started asking me more often if I wanted to upgrade to the ad free version and I noticed a couple days ago that the screen would be off when I woke up during the night. I’d unlock my phone, watch the ad, and put it down again. Last night, I woke up just in time to see one of those fake “you’ve been infected by 18 viruses” type pages. Closed it and reopened the app. This morning I checked and found that it had opened at least three spammy screens in my browser probably over the last couple nights. It’s not ok for an app without in app purchases to keep bothering me about purchasing something and definitely not ok for it to start opening browser windows in the middle of the night. Even if I wasn’t concerned about security issues, this causes the phone to lock and the alarm won’t sound since it’s on silent and the app is closed. All I wanted was a clock to show during the night and an alarm to play in the morning and this app messed both those up.

Everything is good but one
Its really good but there are way to many ads but everything else is brilliant
Needs to be improved
Few simple things would make this app really good. First, creating a playlist for alarm. You can create a playlist for sleep function but not for alarm. It makes no sense how they miss this. So simple but it will improve the rating to 4 star. Also, I would like to see if you can select to wake up to a radio on iTunes music. So instead of selecting a song have the ability to select the entire playlist or a radio station. Last thing is ability to enlarge the numbers. Digital display should be made bigger or smaller (zoom). More color options or ability to add nature background or photos from the library. I think these improvements would bring it to a 5 stars. Seems simple to me and o hope they can add these functions soon.

Ads, volume unreliable
Tried this app with great anticipation after reading online reviews, but found that the alarm volume only worked reliably when the app was running in the foreground on my iPhone 8. Also, being continually bombarded with ads while trying to set up alarms, just in order to evaluate the app, was really annoying. The developer would be well advised to increase the duration between ads.

Good but…
I bought the paid one, doesn’t work. When I went to the settings it just freezes the app
“Weather server unavailable, please try again”.
Clicked OK and it won’t go away. I rather put up with this app and the adverts.

Problem with weather location means it has had to go 😕
I’ve had this on app on my phone for years it’s brilliant as I wake in the night and if I can’t see what time it is I can’t get back to sleep. It’s clear and when I upgraded for no ads it was just what I needed, but recently it just doesn’t work. Keeps coming up with a flashing message that there is a problem with the weather location isn’t working. I downloaded it again but still doing it

Looks nice, but deleted it ages 3mins off an ad every 25sec
