Great magazine one problem
Great magazine but why isn't it in newsstand? They seem to think they are special and there app should be on my home screen. NO!Iamlacticburn
No Newsstand, late issues, basic features
Love the magazine, hate the app.
It's truly disappointing to see a technologically-rich magazine like Make completely drop the ball when producing a supposedly technologically-rich version of itself (especially when it's so late to the party in doing so).
As others have pointed out this belongs in the Newsstand rather than as a separate app. But it's also almost completely devoid of features (other than a few clickable links and simple animations) and, as I write this, the latest issue has been available for over two weeks online in PDF format (and my subscription copy has been in my hands for over a week) but the issue has still not appeared in the app. In fact, the app hasn’t been updated at all in two months and still only offers access to 6 back-issues of the magazine.
Make, shame on you…change the title of your app to “Make Do” until you decide to put some effort into it.Show lessBrent Sheppard
Delay in IOS App issue release
When published, the ios app issues are pretty nice.
Unfortunately, the ios app version of the magazine is significantly delayed relative to the online PDF version. As of this review date (March 25) issue 38 has not been released despite being available via PDF since 3/11. The fact that they charge an a for both formats only adds to the frustration.Show lessBRoss14338
Great way to read Make
I love this app! It has a great interface, and the issues have been updated with animations and videos. Much better then reading the PDFs. It also looks great on the retina enabled iPads!

Clunky interface
It's not quite ready for primetime; I have a print subscription, so after I got them to send me an email with the account number (which is not on the actual paper magazine, just on the throwaway wrapper) I thought I'd be able to log in. So far, no luck, just "authentication failed"-- and I'm able to log in with a laptop.Show lesssiren19

Should be in Mewstand, Download Errors
Make should be located in the native newsstand app like all other magazines.
Also every time I try to download an issue, I get a "Download Error" message. While the UI is nice, I wish more effort was put into making this app actually work.Chall2009
