  • Can’t Sign In…

    I have a new phone and have installed the app and am trying to set it up but when I go to sign in I am being told I have an account, yes I know that and I am trying to sign into it but you just keep telling me repeatedly this email address is already signed up and you won’t allow me to go any further!

  • Generally quite poor

    I use PCG on a regular basis but the phone systems are becoming less user friendly to try and reduce people costs (presumably)

    Tried the App. Oh dear. It was adamant I lived 2 houses away and would not let me change it. It continually refused to take Apple Pay (works flawlessly everywhere else for me). The actual cost for the trip was higher than the high end of the stated range so the poor driver ended up with less of a tip. Uber was cheaper when I compared - and guaranteed.

  • Driver waiting somewhere else and not coming to the pick up point

    The driver didn’t arrive to the pickup point. He was waiting somewhere else nearby. No point in waiting somewhere else. His phone has got only voicemail. Couldn’t reach him. Got into a situation whether to cancel the ride or to find him to reach the train station on time. Finally, after calling passenger cars operator, I found him. Such an unwanted tension in the morning!

  • Takes money without you even making a booking.

    This app took money from my card without me even making a taxi booking. Called company who couldn’t resolve the issue.
  • customer dissatisfaction

    Doesn’t find my address ever so cabs stop at the wrong side - change the GPS provider!
    Also unstable and sometimes comes up with a completely blank screen. Like today.
    The previous app was better - what’s the point of cheaper when it can drive away customers … it’s just more expensive in the long-run through the loss of customer

  • No tracking. Late. No apology. Rude when called

    Booked a taxi through the app an hour before needing to travel with a set travel time. The app has no tracking of the vehicle whatsoever. for a 10 min journey for a food reservation, we gave ourselves an extra 20 mins buffer. After the taxi was 10 mins late without any notification we called. They then said we were 4th in a queue and our taxi would show up roughly at the time of our reservation. So by the time we arrive at the restaurant it’s unlikely our spot will not have been filled at the restaurant. No wonder normal taxi companies are being crushed by Uber.

  • Upgrade but with new bugs

    Update 3/Feb/21 - used it for a couple more rides since the new update and changing my review to 5 stars as promised. No problems anymore!

    First of all, kudos to finally updating the app so it looks and feels more slick. It didn’t let me login with my existing credentials though so I had to register from scratch which was a bit annoying (registration is a friction point so its always worth investing in migrating users). Booked a ride for next morning but the app would say I don’t have any bookings even though my card was charged and a confirmation sms was sent. Had to call customer service to confirm which beats the purpose of the app. Fix these minor issues and I’ll change my review to 5 star.

  • Passenger cars update

    I cannot update my app. I have been through all of the links and still no joy. I’ve been through email and phone number and still have not got a response. I had to phone the service, I’m sure they could do without answering phones today. Has always been a fabulous service and linked to my card, so that I could pay for my father without argument as he is the only person in our bubble. Please can you assure that the new update is as easy to use as the old one. Thank you, I don’t want to use another company.

  • New App

    New app is a nightmare, can only book for a journey now, not in the future. Apparently, Chelford is now outside pick up area, despite many pick ups in the past. Had to phone office to book, which kind of defeated object of app! Please sort it out, or go back to old app!
  • Fuming - ripped of by a driver I knew

    A driver I’ve got a good relationship with, spoke about the known faults on the new system. I was quoted £5.90 on a journey I’ve made 5-6 times in the last 4 weeks. The driver went in completely the wrong direction but assured me I was on a pre-paid set fare so I sat back relaxed and chatting. When I get in I get a notification from the bank the fare was £7.60. I might have tipped that, I didn’t have any change on me. But to take money from me, without knowledge, without agreement is theft. I feel like I’ve been conned tonight. Not a nice way to end my evening.
