Duplicate of the bread units app

Neither app can help a person prepare foods at home with carb advice. Since we do not patronize fast food restaurants, this is not of much help as both are the same. The description for both was misleading. Since I have purchased the book, life without bread, I had hoped this would be an extension of the information contained in the book. Very disappointing. I need a refund.

What a rip

I thought this app would give me a carbohydrate counter. But no. You have to buy another app if you want that kind of information. Useless app for me. Paid $1.99 to get what I really wanted. This app is just a come on.

Bit muddled

I downloaded this to help me count my carbs. The lay out is good but it is difficult to find foods, for instance I tried to locate tomato ketchup but I trailed through lists of other tomato products. This was designed for diabetics,so it may be more beneficial to them but I have gone back to My Fitness Pal to count my carbs

Response from developer

Dear user, we're sorry to hear that you couldn't find the products you were looking for. It's been a while and we have improved the search options you have. You can include multiple words in your search, for example “tomato ketchup mcdonalds” if you want to get to it straight away. Or “milk fresh product” if you want to avoid processed foods. It has become quite versatile and we sincerely hope you want to go back to it and give it a fresh look. Cheers, Jommi

Not what I expected!!!

This app is a big disappointment! You have to leave the app to figure out the amount, grams, mg, ridiculous! I just want a simple app to calculate the carbs in the meals I cook!

Response from developer

Dear Theresa, we're sorry to hear that you had a bad experience when you first bought the app. It has been a while and we have improved everything massively. You can now take products and combine them into meals, just like you suggested. We really hope this message reaches you and that you're able to give it another try! Cheers, Jommi
