Great customer service, app needs improvement
The customer service is fantastic. But, the app needs lots of improvement. It will randomly disconnect from the button and you have to recalibrate it every time you open the app. Even if you accidentally close Tontoe app. Very frustrating but a great concept. There should be a function on the button that will make a sound, not just turn on a light to help you find the misplaced button.

This monitor saved my babies life
After my son being born extremely premature at just 25 weeks coming home was a worry for us. We therefore looked into monitors we could buy for peace of mind to help us sleep at night. We came across the MonBaby. Absolutely fabulous! So easy to use and set up.
About 4 days after coming home the alarm was ringing on my phone at about 2am and it was because my baby stopped breathing.
Luckily we responded quick enough along with an ambulance to save his life. However, without this monitor we would’ve woke up the next morning and it would’ve been too late.

Great customer service, but...
I want to start by saying that this company’s customer service is top notch! However, we’ve experienced many frustrations with this app and the product. The concept is awesome, but app needs many improvements. The app will not run in the background. Meaning your device must be turned on at all times in order for the app to work. The app does not connect to the button more times than it does. It takes me about 15 minutes a night to get the button connected to the app, and sometimes I give up and just hope nothing happens to my son throughout the night! A lot of shutting down the app, shutting down the device, and multiple attempts to connect are included in my nightly routine. This app creates more frustration than its worth in my opinion. The company did reach out and try their best to fix the situation, and for that I am thankful. I do love the concept of the app/monitor, but I think there are still a lot of kinks to work out.

Where’d the graphs go!?
Just got the new update... no graphs? I checked the graphs constantly because it helped me to monitor my baby’s sleep trends and activity level throughout the night. Would love to have this feature back!!!!!
Outstanding device and support
We previously had a much more expensive device that gave false alarms frequently and broke when our first child was 6 months old. We purchased Monbaby for our second baby and have been amazed at the difference.
No false alarms in 6 months! Support (and the super detailed instruction booklet) have been great for troubleshooting. The app lets you see baby movement and turn on and off alerts so you can chose what you want alarms for in the night. I liked being able to have an alarm for when our baby wasn’t moving (breathing) and for when he rolled on his side or tummy - excellent to be able to go in and fix his sleeping position before he fully awoke and keep him sleeping safely on his back. I also liked being able to see when he was properly asleep (low movement) and when he was waking or awake. This was often before I heard anything through his sound monitor.
As he got older we were able to turn the rolling on his side alert off.
We did find that we could put his Monbaby on his woombie (swaddle) and this was a little easier. As he grew to sleeping bag age we found the outfits better than the sleeping bag - they wee less close fitting than the woombie and too thick.
When he moved to his own room (other end of the house) the Monbaby gave me great peace of mind.
At first we had the app too far from the monbaby - it worked fine in all rooms at our friends house but our walls are metal so if more than a few rooms away we had connection issues. We used an iPod touch to run the app every night and nap time so our phones weren’t connected and we put the iPod in the room and could hear any alerts through the normal sound monitor and this worked well.
The ring around the outside eventually broke and Monbaby is posting another one for free!

Provides relief with one major area for improvement
The first day of our little ones life she gave us some scares when she would choke and stop breathing. Fortunately we were in the hospital and the nurses and nursery staff were there to help us through but it left us uneasy for our first night at home. This product has helped us have some reassurance for when we are sleeping at night to make sure she isn't having any more choking episodes. With that said, I do wish the app had more settings to where you could put the device on pause so the alarms don't go off during the many middle of the night feedings. To my understanding, the only option is to turn the device off, or log out, any time you are going to be moving the baby so that the "on my side" or "high activity" alarms don't go off. In the absence of this pause feature we instead put our phone on vibrate and just let the alarm go off on vibrate during the many middle of the night feedings and then turn the sound back on once she is back in her bassinet. I would love it if someone could either provide a different option that doesn't involve turning alarms off, or if the pause feature could be developed. I feel that would bring this app from a 3/4 to a 5 100%.

App bugs
App closes throughout the night lacking the monitoring I purchased the product for. Can you fix this problem please? Doesn't do what it's supposed to do.
Bugs that close app
This app rarely stays open through the night for me, which is scary and disappointing. I bought this to make sure my new baby who has had health issues stays breathing at night between feedings. I can't count on this to alert me as it is supposed to. I don't advise purchasing a monbaby monitor until they sort this out.

Peace of mind
This app is super reliable and works really well peace of mind all night.
We mostly run this app on our iPad and would love it if you could make the on screen buttons bigger and easier to hit when you wake up all blurry eyed. Also would it be possible to add a night mode? The ability to run it split view would be the icing on the cake ( MonBaby and our Baby monitor )

The product is amazing, but...
I must say I do love this app and device however, the Bluetooth range needs serious work. I would give it 5 stars but the product only works when your in the same room as the baby wearing the device. If you move more than 3 feet away from it the device disconnects. Please try and fix the Bluetooth range!!
