Best way to navigate the NY art world
Without this app I would have seen half the number of galleries in NY. The map pin feature lets you create your own little gallery tour for each precinct. Content is comprehensive and well updated. Great design and easy to use.
Thank you
Thanks for making this
Thank yβall
This is a great app. I recently visited NYC to survey contemporary art. You made my trip. This is a wonderful resource even if youβre not in town. All the best.

Makes it easy to decide where to visit. Would love if, in addition to list view, there was another view where you could scroll through only/mostly images (like the featured section) for all the other galleries.
Almost great.
So much about it is great - so far it seems to be the best resource for finding artists on view and gallery shows in the city. I want to see this app improve a bit and ultimately expand and succeed. Couple of improvements would make it indispensable:
1) Make it possible to swipe through gallery shows by art/artist. Right now, you have to go back to the gallery and continue tapping down to the next which can be frustratingly time consuming. Better to just swipe until seeing the artist's work that interests you, rather than gallery name. (Such as on featured). If the issue is about monetization, there are creative [and probably more lucrative] ways to do that without tainting the experience at all).
2) Make it possible to enlarge images to view it in better detail. A tiny square in a huge loft gallery doesn't really help show off many artists' work - only the gallery space.
3) Maybe allow to pull in recent tagged location images from the shows through Instagram.
Some future possibilities could be a bit of algorithm-based 'you may also like' linked artists based on certain criteria such as medium, technique, movement, etc (though could become tedious or esoteric fast if not simple parameters).
Some future possibilities could be to list art school + university shows, stretch a bit into performance art, dance, or to create 'suggested' shows based on similar criteria etc.

Excellent
So easy to use, and make your own list and map. Have used it on several NYC gallery visits, and it is accurate and works well on cell service. One nice addition would be to sort exhibits according to closing date.
5 Stars!
Exactly what the art world needs!!
Finally. The best.
Been waiting for that app for so long. Serious. Clear. Efficient. Well curated and still covers a lot of ground. The presence of press release for shows makes all the difference. Dont wait. Just get it already and go see the shows IN PERSON!
Best Art Map App
This is the best app yet for finding on what's going on in the art worlds of LA, NYC and Berlin. Very comprehensive yet curated selection of galleries - listings including what's opening this week, by area and also what's closing so you can make sure not to miss out. The map is suuuper useful for finding the galleries and having images and info on each exhibition all in one place is really great so you can see if you're interested in making the venture or not. I'm also a fan of the no fuss logo and design. ππΌππΌππΌ Look forward to new city updates!!

An essential tool
Necessary tool for navigating the art world in NYC. This app would be extraordinary if it simply provided the interactive map, but See Saw takes it one step further by including press releases and images of each exhibition featured. Great way to preview what you want to see, and discover new shows, spaces, and artists.
