Was great, but the update has some problems
I really enjoyed playing this game up until the most recent update (1.0.9, I believe). Everything was great, and more importantly, everything worked. Ever since I've installed the update, the game has been horrendously slow and had some weird moments. One of the most common occurrences is that when I'm fighting a boss or a miniboss, they just fly away and go off screen. I lose a life, and all of my progress through the level. It's kinda frustrating to be at the end of a level and the boss flies away, so all you can do is try to kill yourself with asteroids. I've had to do that a lot recently, and it gets tedious quickly. As for the massive slow down of the game, I have no idea. I just know that it takes my pilot a few seconds to follow my finger, and when he does, he either goes too far or not enough. Sometimes he even moves without my touching the screen!
I do enjoy the game, and I'm sorry that I had to write a one star review. It was great, but the recent patch has made it completely unplayable. I'd be happy to come back and change it to five stars and talk about how I enjoy a bullet hell game having a plot and good music, but I need to be able to play it first.

Amazing Game - A Must Try
A brilliant shooter game that brings to the life the classic space invader theme. A clever and intriguing story that has helped carry my several hours of gameplay. I love the options to pick and select ships and I'm not to fussed about the current economy balance of credits. All around, I'll give this game 10/10. Hits the nail on the head when it comes to it's genre.

Fantastic
Such an awesome game. Do not be put off by its FTP status as it is still entirely playable. Fun and addictive with awesome boss fights providing a unique incentive. Good job developers! (Also love the dubstep)

If you like shooters it's worth a look. Nothing groundbreaking but lots of ships, weapons and upgrades. Gameplay isn't hugely diverse and the storyline is a click through as fast as possible experience and seemed not worth reading. That's just me though.
Free game so what can you lose (unless you love it and then you will probably end up spending a lot). Unless you know how to use memory hackers ;)

Absolutely love it, plenty of room for improvements
Gonna make this quick- the game is awesome, looks great, I haven't had any noticeable bugs as of writing this. This game has a lot potential, but it's still unpolished; black market stuff costs way too much (should be 1 credit, since it would mean an item per sector completed, instead of having it cost a dollar each), plasma weapons need to be toned down in damage, bosses need to have more designs, ships need to have personal upgrades (like upgrading the basic gun to have more shots, higher ROF, more speed, which would show on the ship so they would also be visible upgrades) there needs to be higher amounts of money gained from higher levels (I still earn roughly the same as I did in level 1 in level 7), there needs to be ships that can be bought with gems and you also need to be able to try their weapons and abilities out, there needs to be a shop for weapons and gear, items should have different upgrade paths, ships should be customizable, there needs to be a difficulty marker for each level, levels need to have a progress bar, missiles need to be destructible projectiles, and finally, give us different types of lasers like emp and plasma.

Rendering issues
Overall it's a good game however there are problems with black boxes over each inventory item. Also the galactic map consists of one big black box that leads to next sector and some very hard to see 3d lines?
Okay game with lots of potential
I love the shooting and dodging aspect of the game and the graphics are really unique. The dialogue is super witty and overall it's pretty fun. However, there's something's that could make it better. First off, it's annoying that if you want to turn on the online settings you have to reset the whole game. Second, whenever you get a cargo box, you should have the option of selling it because 90% of the time I have to ignore a hard earned box. Third, show the ships in the store in action so you can tell what they do, because otherwise you buy one and realize it's actually pretty bad. In addition, why do you have to lose progress in a sector if you start a different one? It's kind of annoying when I wanna earn some money and I have to do all the missions again and again. Lastly, it would be nice to be able to choose what items I get, instead of randomly opening a box, getting a crappy item and wasting a credit. This game has big potential, but it needs work.

This is a great game even for £2 it's worth it, there are only two areas that could improve this gAme.
1 music it's boring change it to dub step or rock make this game sweet

Very buggy
The menus dont show up so navigation is hard. Has good potential, just has bugs you would think were tested before releasing
