Terrible App
App is way too buggy. I'll be switching banks, can't even access my money on the app and had them decline my card for $12 at a GAS STATION this is an everyday problem and it's ridiculous.
Nonfunctional
After dismissing multiple error messages on the launch screen, the sign in gives another error mid-authentication flow and forces the user to log out.
I’ll chalk it up to their questionable choice to use react native, which in hindsight explains all the error messages.
If this app wasn’t linked directly from the HBCU website, I’d think that this was actually a fairly decent phishing attempt.

Cannot access my account
I go to the app and it says to update, but theres no update to download. Fix this please
The app is not working
The app ( HomeBase CU)states I need an update and press to install update and I did! Then it states open app and it does the same thing over and over. I tried to delete and reinstall and got the same results! What gives?
Should have kept the smart card app
The notifications/alerts for each transaction does not work as it should.

I have had this bank for decades and am so tired of being locked out of my account by them and not receiving my debit card without requesting. I create a new password and register using FaceID and it works for the day. The next day the FaceId is gone. I enter my verified autosaved password and get the “can’t validate your account”. I hit “reset password” and enter my saved “incorrect” password and it says “you can’t reuse your password” which means the password was correct after all. So now I have to wait until Monday during business hours and call them to access my account.
This has happened to me multiple times in the last two years under fort lee and under Homebase. I have NEVER had this issue with any other bank before. They have also limited the amount of money I can withdraw via transfer etc. I will be withdrawing all my money and closing my account for good next week!

These ratings are suspicious
This bank and their app is the worst financial partner I’ve ever had. Ever. Even worse than crypto apps. Its unstable. I constantly get locked out mid-transaction. The Face ID constantly gets deactivated. The website is hard to navigate and doesn’t make it easy to move your funds. The internal and external transfers limits don’t match what’s listed on the website. It’s incredibly hard to get money out. And the monthly limitation of only being able to transfer $5000 seems ridiculous. When I called them I was told that to withdraw or transfer more I’d have to physically go into a bank and write myself a cashiers check. I’ve been banking with them since 1997. I’m withdrawing my money as I have no confidence that I’ll be able to access money when I need it.

App needs updating
I always have problems with this app, right now I can not even access the app.
It freezes up can’t even get it to open
I update the older app and now it freezes up. I cant even open the App...
