App is good but needs some more features
Hello! This app is great to use and intuitive! However it would be wonderful if there was a feature to tell you when a station becomes unavailable. Sometimes I drive to an available station and it’s taken , so if I got alerted that it’s unavailable. That would be great!
Minimum $10 purchase is ridiculous
Every other EV app works the same: you use their chargers and you pay for how much you use. Not FLO. FLO makes you add a MINIMUM of $10 to your account. They say that's an average amount to spend. Which is an obvious lie as most FLO stations don't even let you charge for over an hour. If you have money left over the only way to get it back is by closing your account. Seriously, that's what support told me. Do yourself a favor and use the Chargepoint app to use FLO chargers.

My fav, but one issue
I haven’t found the holy grail of charging apps yet, but Flo is almost there.
1) Plug in
2) Open the app
3) Figure out which charger you are plugged into
4) Hit start.
The issue is that step three relies on finding a serial number for the charger that is small, and not obvious where to find it. Is it on the LED screen? Is it painted on? Where?
Why couldn’t a charging locations have chargers labeled 1,2,3 or A, B, C in huge letters, and we pick that? Internally, they can associate that to the serial number.

Bad UX
This is so much worse than charge point. You need internet to activate the charger but because a lot of them are underground, there is not internet, so you can’t activate from phone, you have to have a card and they don’t support apple wallet
Reliable and informative
The app has consistently worked correctly for charging, and I just discovered shows you what stations are use and which are not that are close to you. You do have to be very mindful of the charging time, because it will keep debiting your wallet after your car is done charging.
Software
The software is the weak point. I usually just plug in and walk away. Here I have to navigate stupid software.

Always operational and almost always available each of the many, many times I have arrived to use it. My only hope is that FLO will install a fast charger for out-of-area EV driving parents and other visitors who need a full charge to return home
Not user friendly
I wanted to charge my car. The station says to put my credit card next to the station. So I did that.
Didn’t work
I then tried my credit card on the other stations thinking the station wasn’t working.
Didn’t work.
I called the number. It’s in french. I live in the USA
They tell me to install an app. It was never written anywhere next to the station.
I then need to create an account. Confirm my email. And finally charge
The user experience is miles below the competition. The only way they can have revenue may be because they get government subsidies but there is so much friction to use that these charging stations are just useless.
In the end my car started charging …
… and the screen instructions were also in French.

Slow to update charger status
Beware: the map does not update automatically. It is common to start driving to a charger when it is still available and arrive to see it is already taken.
Great, but…
This app is great and I downloaded it and I started charging it. Everything worked great but I wanted to get a physical card that I could use to activate the charger and they cost $15. WHAT!? Every other charging company is $8 if not free. I would hope it’s metal or something.
