This is an essential tool when deciding my dinner party menus and getting the best food and wine pairing. I have learned so much of how to decide what to look out for and don’t even think about buying a wine without using this now. It’s flexibility is fantastic. An understanding of wine styles and some basic rules is all it takes. Your comment on dessert wines and pairings is appreciated and noted. I downloaded this app to help me with wine(obviously), because I’m in the business I wanted something I could use as a reference for work. I tried to purchase the app for $3.99, so I could have access to everything. Unfortunately it doesn’t prompt me for purchase, initially I assumed it was a problem on my end ie credit card expired, wrong info, or my settings were off for in app purchases. It wasn’t any of those things. So I contacted Apple thinking something was wrong on their end, after trouble shooting we discovered it wasn’t them either. So I sent an email, over a week ago, to this company to see if something was going on on their end. Crickets. No one has reached out to me about getting this app, and I’m seriously disappointed. Which is unfortunate, as the other reviews have said, it’s a useful tool. But it isn’t all that useful unless you buy it, so I’ll be getting something else.Show lessColoradoTaurus

So sorry to hear of your issue. Unfortunately we have no record of your support request. We pride ourselves on customer service and answer 95% of requests within 24 hours. Our communication with Apple on this issue is still ongoing. As most users have no problem upgrading to the premium version of the app, Apple have suggested that the issue is likely with user’s devices. However, we suspect that the issue may be related to iOS software update 13.5.1 as many developers have reported similar issues with this update. For such a cheap cost, this app offers everything I need - and more. My basic need was a good overview of the major grapes, but the fact it included food pairing made it even more useful. The wine cellar facility also means I don't need to use another app for that. A well thought out idea.Vino Vamps

I can’t believe I got charged 3.00 for this app. It still does not have a comprehensive list of grapes and does not include any wines for pairing with desserts.
It is a half hearted attempt at trying to look like it provides an entire vault of knowledge, when it doesn’t even come close.

The content in this one section of the app alone is equivalent to at least two average sized novels and it’s all been written specifically for the app. The main characteristics of each grape variety are shown, along with a detailed description, regional information and a food pairing guide.
