Support is ignoring me!
First, syncing phone/ipad progress totally screwed up my progress. Second, ad-free purchase wouldn’t restore, new ad-free purchase won’t work, and support request has been ignored. Third, ad-free was $1.99 but after sending support request (to no avail) ad-free price went up to $4.99! I had an old version on my phone, when I opened it it asked did I want to continue with the old saved game, or play the new game started on iPad? I chose to play the new iPad game, but I got a mashup instead. I lost upworld completely. My voyages reset. My first mining settlement is now 31k belief, I have five farm settlements and the next one will now cost 23k belief. God only knows what else has changed!
UPDATE: still no response from support. Upworld is back, but opening the map and clicking to go to upworld causes the app to force close.

insane amounts of full length ads
all ads are unskippable and are around a minute in length. feels like about half of the game play is watching ads.
It was good once.
I remember when there was no ads, just a game where you got to build and explore… It’s been modernized, ads show up anytime you go to research new stuff. Upgrades are locked by hard to get resources.

I remember playing this game yearsssss ago and loving it. It was always nostalgic to me and when I downloaded it not too long ago, it was just as good.
I love how this game was designed, from the Astari people, the whole concept of unlocking memories and abilities, and being able to design your own world. It’s not too challenging where it gets exhausting, it’s a really well paced game.
There are a few things I would change if I could, I wish there were some more detailed instructions on how to play the game. The first few days of playing I did not know I needed empty plots to create farms so I was so confused on how to get wheat, I just merged the houses and thought the wheat would come from it.
Second thing, maybe add more audio options, i really dislike the music when you collect belief because it stresses me out if I don’t collect it fast enough, and it ruins the song. If there was an option to turn off specific sounds that would be amazing, i love the material collecting sounds and the ambiance!!
I’d love to see more storyline or maps for the game and maybe a way to revive Astari civilisations after defeating them, it gets a bit boring after they are defeated. I hope this game keeps updating because it’s definitely a favourite!! Amazing job

The amount of ads
The game is awesome but the amount of ads makes it practically unplayable
Great update but still so much more potential,
I love the game and played it years ago when it was just 2 worlds , love the update and how there’s more worlds now and more item/ power cards to learn and add to the worlds and see the lil people’s reactions , I just feel like there should be more things going on maybe trading , people that group together and travel to a different part of the world and meet up with other villagers for trading purposes, another example maybe a training camp and they have weapons and defend the lands , yes I think there should be a defense mechanism maybe the lost tribe natives attack rarely from sea / ships , it would just add a extra layer of excitement and would be cool to see your world being attacked and buildings burning down but with the lil people having weapons they fight back and with lil help from their god “the player” idk just a thought , and also would be nice to see path ways enter the game maybe even a skill tree to send your colony in to different definitions letting them learn about the world around them and refine resources other then that love the game and the update keep up the work

I think I’m on the 5 device I’ve downloaded Godus on to. I love the aesthetics and thematics of the game and the world is just gorgeous. There need to be more games like this. You can choose to be destructive or a nurturing god and as you play more you develop more powers and abilities. Every time I have had different cities and map layouts. One Easter egg is when collecting belief different tunes come out. I felt compelled to write this review cause many games ask for reviews but this game I’ve played more and returned back to over and over. I’ve started from scratch but it’s hard when you’re used to how many abilities you need to regain. But worth it every time

Great game, massive battery drain
I’ve recently got back into this game after playing it when it first came out, and I was glad to see the new elements like upworld.
The game itself is brilliant, so simple and a delight to play, it’s easy to lose time sculpting away.
But, the battery drain on this game is incredible, and surely must be a bug. In about 15 minutes of gameplay, my 6 month old iPhone 15 has used up 15% of battery. Since reinstalling this game I have gone from typically having 50% battery left at the end of the day to 10% battery by about 5pm. I always close the app properly when not playing, so this isn’t background use.
I previously played a lot of other games like Dominations and Clash of Clans, and none of them drain my battery like this.
I think this is something the developers really need to look at and resolve.
