Love my Arizona Republic on my iPhone
I used to be old school and prefer my news on paper, but since I have had the Arizona Republic on my iPhone, I have learned to love my news app and email notifications about content I am interested in. It doesn’t dirty my hands and I get stories as soon as they post instead of waiting for the next day’s paper.
Now, my day doesn’t feel complete until I read the news on my app, along with my coffee!
Occasionally I have to hunt down my password and reinstall my app on my iPhone which is a bit annoying but overall it’s an easy, convenient process.

Extremely biased
Extremely biased opinionated “” reporting I was looking for something that gave me local news not the writers opinions over and over and over again very very very disappointed Unfortunately every report seems to be pro Democrat and very misleading and overstated it’s time for the United States of America to get back to business and quit listening to the fear mongers in the press and the Democrats trying to take over every aspect of our life so that we have no rights left welcome to Venezuela Arizona if you keep listening to this garbage

Great state and local content but app difficult to use
I love AZCentral as my go to source for local and state news. Having been a long time Arizona Republic subscriber I hope AZCentral can provide the financial support needed for the publishers to continue providing Arizona based news stories and articles. My only complaint is with the app is that too many links appear throughout articles so when when reading and scrolling through the article I inadvertently touch the links which immediately take me to another related story. Very annoying and not a problem with other app news feeds such as AP, NPR and Reuters. I would suggest fewer links in the stories and instead place them at the end of the article if the reader wants to delve further into background. Otherwise, keep up the good work AZCentral and let’s support local journalism.

Unable to Create an Account
I was a digital subscriber, but my subscription expired. The website was useless and wouldn’t let me update my payment information. I called customer support and they were equally useless. I decided to switch to an in-app subscription. That works, but the app won’t let me create an account. I tried creating a direct account and doing it through Facebook, but I am stuck on an endless loop where it keeps asking me for my name. Seriously AZCentral: fix this! The customer experience is one of the worst that I have ever experienced. I just want to give you my money to read the news. Why won’t you let me give it to you?

Took advantage of the recent sale
Overall, I’ve been really satisfied with having local news right on my phone. I do wish there was some way to integrate the service will Apple News+. That would reduce the need for multiple apps on my phone providing me news.
Contains a Useless Limit on How Many Articles you can View
I really was a fan of this app and was planning on giving it 5 stars until I got told I’m out of articles to view for a month unless I pay to be a subscriber which made me lose respect for this app. If the limit or the subscriber articles were very very juicy and exclusive, that would be worth paying for, but the articles are things I can look up on 4 other local apps for free. Why pay for something I can get on 4 other apps for free? If you want local arizona news, I recommend AZFamily or one of the local Fox/ABC/etc local apps. They’re much more worth it imo.

Latest Update Makes App Frustrating
Not sure what changes were implemented but after the last IOS and required app updates, every news article is so full of hyperlinks that I can’t read a full article without being redirected to other pages as I try to scroll to continue reading the article. Soooo frustrating that I don’t read as often on the app.
The journalism is fantastic, however, so I will continue to support this quality newspaper.

Very good spot
Easy to go through very clean and easy
Terrific
I am a Snowbird and use the app every day back home in Canada. It keeps me up to date with the valley news and I wouldn't want to be without it.
A surprisingly objective paper for such a deep red state.
They present syndicated material from both spectrums. And the paper appears to be more objective than i had anticipated. Well done.
